Howard Courant
March 16, 1939

Married, at Wichita, March 12, Ralph Perkins Jr. and Miss Phyllis Rae Snowden, at the First Presbyterian Church, by Dr. A. J. Ferry, at 2:30 p.m.  The youthful couple are both graduates of the Howard high school, and the groom attended the State Agricultural College at Manhattan for one year.  He is the son of Representative and Mrs. Ralph Perkins and has lived nearly all of his life at the fine farming home of his parents.  Only in his twenty-first year, Mr. Perkins has already distinguished himself as an outstanding Future Farmer and is to follow the vocation of his preference.  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rae Snowden who live east of Howard.  The new Mr. and Mrs. Perkins go to housekeeping immediately on their own farm, near Piedmont, and 13 1/2 miles northwest of Howard.  The Courant extends hearty congratulations and best wishes for a long, happy wedded life.
