Just came back from the Al's urologist. He had to have his bladder scoped (ouch) and will have to go back to have a lesion removed. Oh,goody. Hopefully it's nothing, but who knows? I can't help being a bit worried.

Oh well. The doc just called. Al's bladder surgery is scheduled for January 11. Could have been on a better day, but what can one do? I just cancelled all the plans I had made. Hopefully it will be decent weather and the outcome will be good.

Prayers for Al and you. My daddy went through bladder cancer and the surgeries that entailed. No fun. Prayers for healing.

Thanks all. They hope it's nothing, but I'm a little worried. There is definitely something there that has to be removed, but they aren't sure what the biopsy will show. I've read everything I could get my hands on, so now I know too much.

Prayers and fingers crossed for a good result. He had his presurgical tests and EKG yesterday. I know the doctors is good. He's the one that other doctors go to. If nothing else ,now Al will forever have to go have bladder scoping from time to time, just like we all have colonoscopies. At least he doesn't have to drink Miralax or any other nasty stuff and the appointment is at a decent time...not before dawn!
