Well, Judy, you have really topped all of us for an exciting day.  I will bet you didn't find it so.  Glad it wasn't any worse and that you are home safe and sound.  Take care of yourself.

My excitement for the day was looking at all the naked ladies in the yards in Independence.

Judy, my husband drank a lot of Ensure, Boost and the Great Value from Wal-Mart, he liked the Great Value because it wasn't as sweet but didn't have very many flavors.  Kept it in the fridge so it was real cold or over ice, even put it in the blender with ice or put ice cream with it for a shake.  He liked the vanilla with canned peaches and vanilla ice cream in the blender.

P.S. I came in on the scary thing with Judy late, I'm so glad things are okay now! Anemia can make you really dizzy, it made me feel like I was drunk-I couldn't even walk straight! Take care of yourself Judy, we'd miss you around here!

For those of you who might call them something else, the naked ladies that Janet is seeing in Independence is the late summer blooming lily that appears to come out of nowhere.  In reality, they made their first appearance in the spring as foliage like daffodil foliage but bigger.  Then the foliage dies only to come back to life as flowers a couple of months later.  Some people call them surprise lilies because they seem to be a surprise after thinking that there is nothing there.  They are a pretty pink and are mostly in patches that intensify the effect.

No, guys, you don't need to hurry down to Independence to see the naked ladies.  You probably have some in your own yard.

We call them hurricane lillies here, they are all over my yard and will bloom when there is a disturbence in the gulf.  They are very pretty.

Wow!  Spend a day away from the computer (sitting on the beach, granddiaughter playing games) and I missed all that.  Thank God you are okay, Judy.  And thanks to Diane for being so helpful.  This just makes this forum all that much more special.

And, I know all about naked ladies (the flower) as we have them in our front yard.

HELP!  I'm talking and I can't shut up!

I came...  I saw...  I had NO idea what was going on...
