Marjorie "Marge" (Cass)  Marrs died Thursday, August 13, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 92.  The daughter of Burnie Cecil and Emma (Fear) Cass, Marge was born May 18, 1917 in Howard, Kansas.  She attended elementary school at Pleasant Hill School, a small country school outside of Howard. She started high schol at the age of 21 in Fall River, Kansas and graduated at the age of 24.

On May 23, 1948, Marge married Donald "Wayne" Marrs.  They made their home in Neodesha, Kansas until 1979 when they moved to Grand Lake in Oklahoma where they owned and operated Marrs Marine.  Marge alo worked many years as an accountant bookkeeper, and administrator for Low Income Housing.  She worked for H&R Block for 10 years and was self-employed for seven years doing taxes.

They moved to Claremore, Oklahoma in 1999 and were members of Rehoboth Baptist Church.  Marge enjoyed playing cards, playing games (especially Bingo), working jigsaw puzzles, eating out, playing piano, and going to church.

Marge is survived by her son, Wayne "Holden" Marrs and wife Roxie of Verdigris, Oklahoma; granddaughter Kendra Marrs of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and grandson, Nathan Marrs and wife Corey of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four brothers.

Funeral services for Marjorie (Cass) Marrs were held Monday, August 17,. 2009 at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Claremnore, Oklahoma with Rev. Wayne Keely officiating.  A graveside service followed at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard, Kansas under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory, Claremore, Oklahoma.
