If you are speaking to me.  I'm not an "Obama Lover" nor am I an "Obama Hater".  I don't think the Government should keep me and I damn sure don't think Grandpa should pay my way either.

LoL..  Unanimous, huh?  We are in fact not the same person, as i am sure the moderator can verify by our IP addresses.  I am simply someone who has perused the forums for a while, but felt the need to post when I read what you said.  Nothing more, nothing less. But thank you.

You and i don't get to vote.  You still have yet to address an actual issue Elk.  Sitting here and attacking me personally won't really do any good.  Maybe you'll feel better, i'm not sure.  But when you are ready to actually talk about issues, facts, and possible solutions; I'm here.

By the way, moderators can track IP addresses of posters who are online, thus enabling them to see who is who.  You are the same person as Warph, how about that.  I bet you're me too, and we are just arguing with ourselves out of boredom.

You're a little late to this particular party, Anmar...Elk has indeed posted definite opinions on this Forum (previous to this particular post).  I believe, perhaps, the condescending tone of the post in question might have triggered the response.

Anmar

Catwoman,

Elk said i was full of crap, i asked, what have i said that isn't true?

In this thread, Elk has not spoken on any issues, only made personal attacks and name calling.  The same kind of silly things that people have been complaining about on these forums.

I'm saying, if anyone wants to discuss issues, lets do it.  I don't need hateful rhetoric and neither does anyone else.  I've worked in politics and i'm accustomed to being insulted, so it doesn't bother me much, but sitting around here and insulting people isn't going to solve anything.  We can sit here and argue till we're blue in the face and in the meantime China, Russia, Israel and the UAE own more than half our country.  We have a national debt that we're never going to pay off, our education and health care system is among the worst of the developed countries and all Elk and her neighbors can say is that I'm full of crap.

Only once in the history of the United States has the national debt ever been paid in full.

That was for one year during the Andrew Jackson administration in the 1830s.
"If one of the many corrupt...county-seat contests must be taken by way of illustration, the choice of Howard County, Kansas, is ideal." Dr. Everett Dick, The Sod-House Frontier, 1854-1890.
"One of the most expensive county-seat wars in terms of time and money lost..." Dr. Homer E Socolofsky, KSU

Anmar

One of the biggest steps Jackson took was abolishing the federal Bank.  They are the biggest economic enemy of the American people.  Why we sit here and let a private, non-government entity have control of our money supply is beyond me.

I don't think anyone who posts regularly on this forum is an "Obama Lover"  I think people just are tired of hearing the lies and silly bickering that go back and forth.  Take the following story as an example;

1992  Bill clinton :  Hey y'all, i'm gonna balance the budget
Repubs:  We don't like you, but it's a great idea, lets get to work

1997:  Budget Balanced for the first time in 30 years

2000:  Bush says:  Hey, screw this surplus nonsense, lets give money to rich people.  Also, lets try to fix a system that works by removing some rules.  By the way, I inherited a recession, so what happens to the economy isn't my fault.  I think i'll also increase the size and power of the federal government.

2008:  Economy collapses, Deficit back to all-time highs.  Bush and house republicans bail out banks and auto industry, create TARP.

2009:  Obama elected president, spends more money to try and recoup Bush's bailouts, inherited one of the worst recessions in US history

mid 2009:  Repubs and members of this forum  "OMG Obama ruined the economy and took us towards socialism"

Me:  This is too important to play political games with.  Stop complaining about people who are trying to fix this mess that people you support created.  Instead, help find a solution.

You left out 2001:  9/11/01 Terror attack, Katrinia, and the War in Afghanistan and Iraq.
But you are right, this goes beyond party lines, and the bush did that obama did this argument.
It is high time we eased the drought suffered by the Tree of Liberty. Let us not stand and suffer the bonds of tyranny, nor ignorance, laziness, cowardice. It is better that we die in our cause then to say that we took counsel among these.
