Glenn Beck hosts one of the worst shows on television, bar none.  Your quote talks about dumb Americans, well Beck does a pretty good job of dumbing down the news.

I have yet to watch all the vids, but lets look at the first few.

The first video is based on a clip from Al-Jazeera of an Imam giving a lecture.  He's describing a scenario of terrorism.  The astute viewer will note that the speaker hasn't given the actual plot any thought when he mentions sneaking something into the USA via a tunnel under the border with Mexico.  Anyone who pays attention knows that crossing the border is pretty easy and tunnels aren't necessary.  An intelligent viewer would also note that the speaker describes the act as "horrifying."  You see, the Imam is actually denoucing terrorism.  Lastly, it's very obvious that the video has been cut in places.  As media savvy americans, we should know that anyone can be made to say just about anything through video editing.  This is a blatant and obvious case of video manipulation.  Watch it again.  Note the skips in the video at 1:25, 1:31, 1:36, and 1:42

Next video is a little better, they bring on an "expert" to talk about mid east politics.  He gives a half-hearted attempt at comparing the Obama's administrations actions in the lebanese elections vs the Iranian elections.  He says Obama did a good job in lebanon but should have used the same strategy in Iran.  Maybe this "expert" hasn't studied Iranian history, and doesn't know that Iranians to this day, hate america for deposing their democratically elected president and installing the Shah.  If Obama had used the same strat he did in Lebanon, the Iranians would see it as history repeating itself and they would immediatly unite behind an anti-american banner.  silly "expert"

the third video really has me scratching my head.  Beck tries to describe the Iranian political system to his viewers.  He gets the first part right, but after that it's total failure, Beck style.  Giving you the answers are too easy, but i'll give links that describe how the government is set up, you can compare it to the video and find his mistakes for yourself.  Hopefully you, the reader, can see how dumb this show really.  You can figure it out, why can't he get it right?

Fourth video starts off with the typical "shock" strategy by opening with some minor outrageous issue that even has liberals scratching their heads.  Everyone does this to point at eachother, left, right, center, he's no different than Olbermann and Madow.  Beck then goes on to prove that he doesn't know the difference between Marijauna and Cocaine, and that he doesn't know what a Libertarian is.  He then spends the next 5 minutes using his show as an infomercial of self promotion.

The fifth video gave me a real laugh.  He goes off on the media for ignoring the recent treasury bond fraud.  The truth is, the story was reported all over the real news, just not on TV news.  Then he complains about about journalists not doing any actual journalism.  Someone should remind Beck that he's trying to be a journalist too, and he didn't look into it either.  He claims the NY times hasn't reported on it, which isn't true, it took me 30 seconds to find their article on it.

I haven't finished watching the vids, i'll finish them off later.  Hopefully you get an idea of how stupid his show really is though.

In one of those vids posted above, Beck talks about how stupid mexico is for wanting to legalize Marijuana.   In this clip, he advocates the legalization of Marijauna in the US and Mexico.  I could never spell hypocrit correctly.

I guess you don't read my posts,  I'm not a liberal nor am i a fan of Barack Obama.  Why is it that so many people to the far right think that everyone who isn't as "conservative" as they are belong to the liberal group?  I think thats why the far right will never win an election.  They are too polarizing, too judgemental, and too wacko.

I'm glad you like Beck, but you should know that his expertise lies in the area of entertainment, not news.  If you want the real news, you pretty much have to run off your TV.

Anmar, just one silly little question...if the tunnels aren't necessary, why did the mexicans take the time to dig them?  

As for Iran uniting behind an Anti-American banner, lets see, they threaten our allies, have given us the ever so friendly name of "the great satan", continue to support terrorists groups like hamas and hezbollah...I would say that they are pretty much united already.

Hah Ain't YOU all lucky......I'm home alone and bored .......Beck...Limbaugh.....Bill OReilly.......Wolf Blitzer.....or Jon Voight for that matter.....they are just like the rest of us...they have no magic mirror on the wall in Obamas inner sanctum.....they have no more idea what's really goin on than the rest of us do. They just happen to have jobs spoutin off about what they think to the NAtion instead of just spoutin off their opinions in the local forum like all of us lol.

In all reality I don't WATCH OPINION shows because there is NOthin that hacks me off more than sittin and listening to a press conferance or a state of the union or other speech and then havin some news person/"expert" come on and tell me what I ACtually just heard like I wasn't listenin! Half the time they change what was said 30 seconds after it was said! I'm sittin there listenin and what they are tellin me I just heard is TOTally different than what I actually just heard!

I listen and then think for myself.........sometimes I'm right sometimes I'm wrong but at least I'm responsible for what I think.

Anmar sounds like a middle of the roader to me....just because he/she has some oooohhhh"liberal" thoughts doesn't make em an Obama fan
