Cat, if it's the Dream Weaver I'm thinking of, it was Gary Wright who sang it.

Teresa, thanks for posting the Johnny Cash video of the NIN song. I was one who grew up hearing Johnny sing, but never really appreciated his music until recently. I think it's great he sang a Trent Reznor song. People often overlook very good lyrics because the music doesn't appeal to them. I happen to like NIN (but I'm weird that way LOL) but I also understand why a lot of folks over the age of 30 wouldn't.

As a side note to this topic, I attended a meeting in El Dorado today and listened to KINZ (I think those are the call letters) on the radio and talk about a blast from the past! Just a few of the songs I got to hear again for the first time in many years: Green-Eyed Lady by Sugarloaf (had to Google that one!), You're 16 by Ringo Starr, My Love by Paul McCartney, Copperhead Road by Steve Earle (LOVE Steve Earle!) Don't Look Back by Boston (who is VERY popular again), Midnight Train to Georgia by Gladys Knight and the Pips (Woohoo! train whistle...LOL) a Bruce Springsteen cover of Pink Cadillace and a Van Halen cover of You Really Got Me. I car-danced all the way there and back....LOL I can't say that any of them were particularly favorites of mine (other than Ringo and Steve Earle) but it was great fun to hear them again.

Since I'm not good at putting videos on this thing (I've just failed miserably), I'll just list my fav's:

Moody Blues:  In Your Wildest Dreams and I Know You're Out There Somewhere
Barry Manilow:  Somewhere Down the Road and Mandy
Dido:  White Flag
Carly Simon:  She's Got You and You're So Vain
Reba McEntire:  If I Had Only Known
Cher:  Believe
???:  Dream Weaver

There are so many that it's hard to choose...But these are some that get to me.

Catwoman all you need to do is go to youtube.com and find a video that you like and want Teresa to "embed" so that we can all see it. All you have to do is once you find the video is to post the URL or location that shows up in the top of your browser. I happen to love Dream Weaver too. I will post the link for you below.  I love Dido too. I just want to say thanks  again Teresa for embedding the videos for us I know it is a lot of work, I promise I will keep my requests to a minimum.

p.s. I have to mention BB King, Neil Young, and Amanda Marshall. Amanda Marshall is a Canadian almost unknown outside of Canada . If you like Dido, Sarah MacLachlan, or Kansas girl Martina McBride and a great voice you will like Amanda Marshal. My best unknown recommendation.

Red, Red Robin Goes Bobbin, Bob, Bobbin Along
Mairsy Doates
I'm Looking over a Four Leaf Clover
I Overlooked an Orchid While Searching for a Rose
Uncle Noah's Ark

Diane Amberg

Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree...The White Cliffs of Dover.  Where Have all the Flowers gone, And that old Viet Nam favorite, the chorus to  We Gotta Get Outta this Place.
