Since we have a "Hippie Thread" going...
I will start and add some stuff on here about the music of the eras..
Not necessarily just Hippie music.. but "oldies"..
Just some that will allow you to walk back through Memory Lane.

Isn't it funny how you can hear a song and it will super sonic speed you immediately to that time in your life when you were hearing it for the first time or when an event was taking place and the song was playing....?
I relate a song with just about everything in my life..

Got to u-tube.. do a search for your favorite songs.. post the links ( you can click on the links to listen to them of course) but I will do my very best to embed them for you on here. Hopefully we'll have a whole jukebox full of favorites...

( Please be patient as  I will be away from the computer alot during the next week.. but I'll do my best to make it easier for you to listen to "the music" and embed them as I can.

Okay.. I hav about an hour before my next appt.. soooooo let me start this off with a bunch..Maybe it will trigger ideas for some that you remember liking.  :)

Time for some country. ;D

This tells a story...
(memory)  Mark and I and a bunch of friends were at Hula Lake for the weekend and a group of our motorcycle friends from California were with us. They had a banjo, and guitar with them. They took those out and this was the first song they played & sang. They were good. The park ranger came by at 10 and said it was quiet time..but ended up setting down with all of us and letting them play until 11:00.

25 yrs ...

This video is in memory of WAYLON JENNINGS - Also dedicated to his wife, JESSE COLTER and his wonderful friend WILLIE NELSON...

and this one gets me every time...I think it was one of ray's last performances.......even ol' Willie almost looses it near the end when Ray is singin'.....
