That was good, very good.  May I have permission to save it?  I promise not to take credit for it even though tempted.  Give credit where credit is due.

dnalexander

Pam that is very good. Thanks for posting your poem.

Thank you all, I appreciate it :) Sure Wilma, I'm just flattered y'all like it.

I am a total MB junkie...I could listen to it for hours.  One of the greats...

Pam thank you for posting the poem. (Second time I said it). Sometimes I need a break from the political discussions, everyday tasks of life and I find it here in the poetry section.

Like it, Pam?  I love it.  It says all the things we need to do.

Wolf's Springtime Song

Lone, lean wolf sings his ancient song.
Others in the pack start to sing along.
Telling of better days over the hills.
Where the wolf pack will find many more kills.
It travels fast in the warm spring air.
Heard by a woman in far distant chair.

Woman sits typing on a blog.
Adding wolf''s song to the internet log.
She too sings the song of better days.
A lesson she learned from her Indian ways.
The song is accelerated to the speed of light.
Continuing its journey this warm spring night.

Man sits reading enjoying some rest.
Thinking these times are not at their best.
He writes the story of wolfs spring song.
He finds himself singing along.
The song travels further on into space.
Back up to God its original place.
