GALLARDO, Michael A. - d. March 16, 2009

Michael A. Gallardo, 43, former Apex and Boeing employee, passed away Monday, March 16, 2009.  He was born in Wichita, Kansas on March 6, 1966, the son of Helen (Cabrales) and Henry Gallardo, Jr.  He was a 1984 graduate of Augusta High School. 

Michael is survived by his father, Henry Gallardo, Jr. of Wichita, Kansas; a brother, Tony Gallardo of Chicago, Illinois; children, Michaela, Kelsi, and Kai Gallardo of Augusta, Kansas; companion, April Gallardo; and very special friend, Dawnette Ahmad.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Gallardo, and grandparents, Enrique and Josefina Gallardo and Manuel and Carmen Cabrales.

Viewing from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. rosary on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta, Kansas.  Mass at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2009 at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta, Kansas.  Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
