Founding Fathers and Religion in America

As is not uncommon a post on this forum sent me on a quest for some in depth research on an interesting topic, in this case the religious beliefs that shaped our nation. While the topic was on my mind I happened to come across several old text books on theology and religion in America that I had not seen in over 25 years. Coincidence or a little help from above? Here are a few links I found in a quick online search for those who wish to explore this fascinating topic. I had forgotten what a controversial topic that this is. In the meantime my nose will be stuck in a couple of my old theology textbooks.
