Man oh man !! I got to build me one of them boat shacks like them Moron brothers have. Ol Sarge could set on the back porch and fish---and flap his jaws---and blow away with his harmonica, and I could set on the front porch---by myself---and have an intelligent conversation-----and catch most of the fish---like always !!!

Aw, that's the biggest bunch of crap I ever heard!!  The only reason you say that about talking with yourself is that you're the only one that understand all the half words and mispronunciations that you use. And who would want to listen to all the prevarications that you spout?

right on, jar, most of the best conversations a guy can have is when he is alone.  nobody to tell you that you are wrong. or stupid. you can laugh at your own jokes, funny or not.  however, I have had a few rainbow trout look at me funny when I lived in Wyoming, sitting on the bank and singing to myself.

Prevarication--"to speak or act falsely with intent to deceive' but ol Sarge was refering  the Latin meaning which is---" to walk crookedly" and I think it's a crying damn shame he makes fun of the way I walk when he knows it's because of the 46 lbs of scrapnel in my legs from stepping on that Boucing Betty in Nam, not to metion the 7 bullets from the Inchon landing in Korea. At least at Iwo Jima I only got shot in the left leg---but a tank did run over my right foot !!!
