Angtown, well said and I am sure many if not most of the people on the forum will agree. The trouble with much of the world is that so many have abandon God and they are or will pay for it. I had more but erased it.

You know there is an old sayin" God helps them who help themselves" If you keep shootin yourself in the foot all the help in the world from God ain't gonna make it heal up. Politicians keep shootin us in the foot, sooner or later we gotta learn to move our feet!
Anybody who has been alive very long has seen God workin, wanna go a few rounds on religion Frank?

Pam, I have heard that saying and I see your point. But my point is that the politicians are shooting themselves and putting this world in hurt because they are taking God out of everything!! The politicians voted to take God out of schools and look at our school systems. Not like when I went to school and sure not like when you went to school. They get those politicians that are in the offices that believe in some other type of God, and look at our world. We are in this mess because of people, not because of God.

I just choose to believe that if I pray hard enough that God will help us. God doesn't always answer our prayers right away, or even in the way that we wish, but there is a reason for the madness happening. I'm really not sure, but I also choose to believe it is because God is teaching us a lesson. There is always lessons in every mistake that is made. I know and understand clearly what you are saying. Everyone has there own opinions and stuff and this is just mine.

Angie I don't disagree with you. They didn't take God out of anything tho. God is still there. And it don't matter what name He or She goes by either, it's still God and Gods still there. The problems in our world are caused more by people thinkin their version is the "right" one than by anything else. There really is no "other type of God", it's all one. The problems ARE caused by people, and with the help of God people can fix em. I also agree that mistakes are lessons in disguise. I know God answers prayers and I know prayers can make a difference:) If we ever all got together on it at one time the sky is the only limit!

Your right God is still there! I just mean like Flo said about taking God out of schools, I assumed that it was more than one person. You know I see your point and do agree with it. I think that is why I am so totally disgusted about this election. There is not anyone that can convince me that either of the candidates are worthy of votes by us Americans. I feel that I will vote for the one that disguted me the least, but at this point neither come to mind!!!
