The latest Democrat delegate situation

From CNN

2,026 needed to win unless Florida and Michigan are allowed back in

Obama has 1953, 73 needed to win
Hillary  has 1770, 256 needed to win

Obama has 1648 ordinary or pledged delegates and 305 super delegates
Hillary has 1493 ordinary or pledged delegates and 277 super delegates

There are 86 pledged delegates at stake in three yet to be held primaries: Puerto Rico, Montana and South Dakota.

There are 212 super delegates who have not declared.

Hillary cannot win more pledged delegates than Obama. After last night he now has taken the majority in that category.

Hillary needs all 86 pledged delegates in the next three primaries and 173 of the super delegates. As Judy Tenuta used to say, "It could happen"!
"If one of the many corrupt...county-seat contests must be taken by way of illustration, the choice of Howard County, Kansas, is ideal." Dr. Everett Dick, The Sod-House Frontier, 1854-1890.
"One of the most expensive county-seat wars in terms of time and money lost..." Dr. Homer E Socolofsky, KSU
