Anna Ethel Brown, 92, of Moline, Kansas, died Saturday, May 17, 2008.  She was born April 14, 1916 at her family farm near Allen, Kansas, north of Emporia, the daughter of Carl Edward and Nora May (Robinson) Nelson.

On June 29, 1936, Anna marred Harvey Emmitt Gibson in El Dorado, Kansas where she worked as a homemaker.  Anna and Harvey were married for 30 years until his death in February 1967.  On November 13, 1970, she married Milton Forest Bown.  They were married until his death in October 1973. 

Anna was a member of the Moline Baptist Church.  She loved flowers, reading, and being with her friends and familyl.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence D. Brown of Eureka, Kansas and Les Brown of Pratt, Kansas; one daughter, Bernice Wait of Pratt, Kansas; 11 grandchidlren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna C. Gibson.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 21 2008 at the Elk Falls Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Adams officiating.  The family suggests memorial contributions to the Moline Bapist Church and can be mailed to Countryside Funeral Home, P.O.
