How is the best way to fix them, Flo?  I'd like to know of a good recipe.

how I fix mine is cover a cookie sheet with heavy foil - cover it with you favorite good grade of bbq sauce, (I prefer hickory/honey) put the ribs in, "curved" side up, cover with more sauce and bake at 325 for approx. 3 - 3 1/2 hrs. +/- .  Let rest for a couple min. then cut between the rib bones.

p.s. cook the slab whole

I'm anxious to hear how they turned out, also.  I seldom ever fix ribs, because I don't think I know the right way to fix them.  So, I'm "standing by!"

Well, folks, they were ever bit as good as they smelled.  Have 4 or 5 left for supper tomorrow nite unless Marvin takes them home with him tonite for his lunch tomorrow.  Happy cooking !

Sounds really good.  Do you cover them when they've baking?

We had country style ribs on from the grill yesterday. Yum!! I marinade them in dollar general marinade, usually for a couple of days, then grill slowly. When almost done, I brush with barbeque sauce. Watch closely as it does like to burn. In addition, I roasted sweet potatoes, and grilled a package of burgers and franks. We will eat off of this for several days, along with potato salad, red beans and rice, green onions and peppers.

Land sakes..but my mouth is watering..
I have 2 big slabs of ribs in the freezer.. I just may have to get those puppies out and get them in the marinade..

Flo.. if Marvin took the last of the ribs for his lunch.. I may have to bandito up and do a "rib holdup" on him tomorrow..  ;D ;D

first off, no I don't cover them and second, Marvin didn't take the left-overs. (I didn't offer them to him  ;D) Might add that I don't marinade them either.  They cook slow enough in the "juices" that they get all the flavoring and tenderness they need.   ::) think I may go heat one of them puppies up right now - gotta go - later gater - appetite alarm is going crazy . . .. pppoooooofffffffff
