What are you having for Thanksgiving?

The menu at the Norris' this year (we're serving 11):
Spiral-cut honey glazed ham
3 racks of pork ribs (Chuck will grill them)
Refrigerator mashed potatoes
Broccoli and rice casserole
Apricot salad
Blackeye peas and rice
Cream-cheese corn
Stuffing
Rhodes rolls
Veggie tray
Layed pumpkin dessert
Dad's chocolate mousse pie (frozen) x 2 (it's pretty popular)
Lemon pie

It's my first time to serve Thanksgiving at my house, so I'm pretty excited!

Sounds good !!!  We here at the park in Texas have a huge Thanksgiving dinner.  We usually have about 100.  All who plan to attend sign up and then take their choice from the other sign up sheet as to what they prefer to bring.  The owner of the park furnishes  the turkeys - the camp host cook them, and then the rest of us bring on the rest of the goodies.  We give them selections to sign up for.  I personally am taking a Dilly Pea Salad and 2 carmel/coconut/pecan pies.  We have such good food and a wonderful fellowship time.
Wishing you all the happiest of happy Thanksgiving days .

We will have Thanksgiving Dinner at Inks Lake State Park.
My brother in law has a spit to roast a turkey over an open fire.
We will be baking all of the sides in Dutch Ovens.
It will be very fun.

I have no idea what's on the menu for Thanksgiving.  Youngest daughter wanted to bring it to me, so all I am doing is getting my house ready for company and making my version of Watergate salad.  This salad has become a tradition with my grandchildren as I used to have them help me make it.  Now it is easier to make it the day before.  It isn't so easy to have these adult grandchildren crowded around me waiting their turn at stirring or pouring or whatever.

;D I assume you are bringing the biscuits?  ;D

I am making Turkey, noodles, mashed potatoes, stuffing, glazed carrots and homemade bread, and whatever pie Kjell wants.
It is just Kjell and I ...as my family of men all go trout fishing over Thanksgiving.
And the girls go to their mothers/grandmothers house..
So actually it is really very nice and laid back...and I always look forward to it.

Christmas is wild and crazy..but it is supposed to be..  :D

Very traditional!  This is a "light" year for the number of our family being around the Thanksgiving dinner table, so we're not going "all out" on a lot of side dishes.

We do all have so much to be thankful for.

:-\ had to add to the menu.  It was pointed out to me that we ALWAYS have apple salad and that wasn't written down, Sooooooo, I said fine, you bring it.  ;D.  There are "family tradition" things that we always have such as scalloped oysters and fresh apple cake that we always had at Dad's before my step-mother passed away and now have at my house and the cabbage casserole that everyone always wants youngest daughter to bring and of course carrot cake that middle daughter started bringing 8 1/2 yrs. ago because that is Marvin's favorite.  There's definately gonna be plenty to eat and good company.
