I can agree with all but this one:

19.    Midnight phone calls that last for hours.

The (thankfully) few of these I've had were anything but pleasant, and most often from people who were artificially, rather than naturally, high!

May I add a few more "highs" to the list?

-- the smell of a freshly washed infant
-- the scent of burning leaves in the fall and honeysuckle in the summer
-- a fresh, juicy, just-picked peach
-- a night so silent you can hear the stars twinkling
-- a child on your lap
-- any creative activity that makes time stand still and the world go away for a while
-- a snuggly blanket, a good book and a purring cat on your lap on a snowy evening

My natural high for today was washing four loads of clothes at the laundromat (in less than 30 minutes!) then hanging them on a clothesline to dry in this lovely sunshine and breeze. I can't wait to climb between those freshly scented flannel sheets tonight! We're also going to open windows this afternoon and let some of the warm air move through. Yep, I'm in a heavenly place today!

A small child's smile brightens my day as much as anything else.
When we are out shopping and a small child is riding in the shopping cart basket - I always smile at the baby and so many, many times the little one will smile back and then lean 'way around to watch me and then will smile again.  Believe me, that is a wonderful naturaly high.  I LOVE CHILDREN !!

Childeren, and the twinkle in the elderlys eye.

And regardless of Rudy's recent editorial in the paper... I LOVE the smell of horses.  And sweaty saddles.

Meeeee too Tobina.
I used to go to horse sales and I would go in smelling like perfume.. and within an hour ..after  roaming around in the stalls ,checking out and rubbing  and loving on all the horses that were for sale.. I smelled better ( to me ) than I did when I got there.
Used to just crawl up on my mare to just sit and lay on her a bit so I could get her smell on me and in my nose.
Dang I miss my horses..  :'(

Watching a pair of chubby kittens play keep-away with a leaf in the wind....

Counting the number of redbirds at the feeders, and seeing all the stations on the thistle feeders busy with little finches! The downside of this is the price of feed right now! Ouch!

I can't help but feel happy when I hear some little girls giggling while they're playing!  Probably little boys, too, but it seems to me that little girls do a lot more giggling than little boys!
