A stupid note left for the UPS man

The UPS man that serves the Severy area is a really nice guy.  He comes into the post office almost every afternoon and drops off packages for us to deliver the next day.  (UPS allows the post office to place packages on their airplanes, and in return, the post office delivers some of UPS's packages - usually the packages that are for people who live way out in the country).  One day recently, the UPS man came into the post office shaking his head at how ignorant some people really are.  He showed us a note that had been left for him, and it was so stupid that our postmaster made copies of it.  I will not divulge the person's name who left it, but will say she is a Fall River resident.  Guess she thinks delivery men should go out of their way to find their customers, so she itemized where she would be, and the order in which she planned to do her chores.  (The UPS man serves Fall River, too, but not Fredonia).  Anyway, here is what the note said.

Dear U.P.S.
Had to go to Fredonia, a bunch of things I had to do -- either put deal under ramp or find me in Fredonia.
1.  Dollar Store
2.  Doanes
3.  Western Diner
4.  Post Office
5.  Mrs. C's
6.  Get rid of trunk full of boxes, then come home.
I drive a 1997 Bluish-Green Mercury with tan seats.
Whoops I need to go to library between 2-3.  Have a aqua dolphin hanging from rear view mirror.
Thanks.  Signed ________
P.S. I'll be home all day on the 3rd.

She might as well have left a note, "I will be gone all day  Help yourself".

hahahaa.. I mean ..come on.. you have to laugh. How incredible that anyone would think that he had nothing better to do than run all over the town trying to find her car with the "aqua dolphin " hanging from the mirror. All for a pkg? uhhhhh I don't think sooooo..

Once when he was having trouble catching me at home, our UPS guy offered to deliver my package to Marty at his work... nearly 40 miles away.  HA!  It was on his route too.  I would never have asked, but what a great guy! And what a great life it is in small town Kansas!
