The Wedding Anniversary:

Harry was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary.  His wife was really angry.

She told him 'Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less than 6 seconds, AND IT BETTER BE THERE!!'

The next morning Harry got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window; and sure enough, there was a box, gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway.

Confused, the wife put on her robe, ran out to the driveway, and brought the box back in the house.

She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.

Harry has been missing since Friday.  Please pray for him.

Our big night out for our anniversary has always been Trick or Treating with the kids.  Now it is the grandkids.  He bowed out this year so it was just kids, grandkids and me.  We live abouit three blocks from Kirstie Alley who has a home in College Hill (Wichita) which use to be The Inn on the Park. Kirstie was in town and had a big Halloween spread for the kids and adults.  She was handing out Hot Dogs to all the parents and kids, plus choice of a big round suckers, Carmel Apple or Popcorn Balls.  The yard was decorated  with ghost and witches along with pumpkins and many huge Mums.  She was dressed as a horse but the head was mostly laying on the candy table because the little kids would not go to the table with it on.  Many of the homes really decorate and get into the spirit.  It was a fun evening and the little ones were tired when they finished their Treating.  So was Ole Granny!

What a fun evening you must have had.  Kirstie has been one of my favorites since I found her on Cheers.  I didn't think anyone could replace Shelley Long.  Kirstie didn't replace her, she just created a place of her own.  I would still be watching Cheers if I could find it.

Ok, O.G. There has to be a story there. How did you happen to get married on Halloween. Did you use Halloween colors?
