   Wilma R. Crismas, 82, of Severy, died Friday, December 4, 1998, at the Fredonia Regional Hospital in Fredonia.
   She born May 22, 1916, in Geuda Springs, to Clarence (C.B.) and Frances Edna (Test) Westwood.  She attended grade school at Union Center and graduated from the high school in Howard in 1935.
   On December 24, 1936, she married Alva L. Crismas in Sedan.  She was preceded in death by her husband on January 29, 1982.  They owned and operated a farm in the Severy and Eureka area until they purchasing the Crismas Food Market at Severy, in 1962.  They retired from the grocery business in 1973.
   She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Lend A Hand Quilting Club at Severy.  In the 1930s, she joined the Chruch of Christ in Howard.
   She is survived by one daughter, Frances Talamantes of Chicago, Ill; three sons, Clinton of Garnett, Dale of Independence, and Jim of Humboldt; 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Dale, George, Merle and Fred; and two sisters, Clara Simmons and Mary Alice Travis.
   Funeral service were held Tuesday, December 8, at the Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard with Rev. Kibum Kim of the Severy United Methodist Church officiating.  Interment was held in Grace Lawn Cemetery at Howard.  A memorial has been established with American Heart Association. Contributions may be left with the Zimmerman Funeral Home.
