Did you all know that the communities of Moline and Star Texas are about three miles apart, just as Star school house is about three miles from Moline, KS.  But, in Texas, Star is a small town, and Moline is just an old school house and a house or two.

It doesn't mean anything except that personal experiences will cause people to look for connections that mean nothing.

Just like the fact that there is a historical warehouse building in the "West End" of Dallas (an earlier version of Wichita's "Old Town") with a plaque stating that it is the "Moline Building" and that it's first occupant was the Higginbotham Southern Plow Co..  Nothing special, right?  But if you're from a town named Moline and your great grandparents were Higginbothams then it makes you think 'Is there a connection'?

No, it's just coincidence.  Same with the fact that Durbin Road crosses Crooked Creek Drive somewhere in Plano, TX.  Means nothing unless your name is Durbin and you grew up on Crooked Creek Ranch.
