My brother has the property with the camper and such back in the trees south of you.  You should have seen it while my mother was living there.  There was a big 2 story farmhouse with a wrap-a-round porch.  It burned during the years that it was out of our hands.  My mother sold it and my brother bought it back after the house burned.  That pond has been fished by 4 generations with the 5th generation coming up.

I just counted the miles on the county map and I counted 10 miles to the corner south of you.  Bill was closer to right than I was.  So now we know.

Thank you.
I tend to be a chat board addict.  :D

And it's really neat when the people I'm chatting with are so close to me.  :D

Oh I'll bet it was beautiful!!!  Too bad it burned down.  :(  He must be the one that drives the white station wagon looking car?  He's always real nice and waves when he goes by.  We usually see him on weekends.

Janet Harrington

Yep.  That would be him.  Here is a picture of him and his wife.  I introduce to you Dale and Nadine Hancock.

Hi Sarah! So glad you've joined us here! I'm curious....what is a fiber farm? Are you growing Metamucil or celery or jute or what? LOL (I have a twisted sense of humor.)

Sarah,

I live on Road 14 just about a half mile south from Rock road. We go by your house to feed cattle that are pastured on west of your place. We have a son who is 2.

Welcome to the forum!

We are building up to Blue Face Leicester sheep, Angora goats, Angora rabbits for their wool for hand spinning.  :)  We have a pair of Blue Face Leicester sheep right now and we have 4 more coming from Ohio in July and we have 9 Angora goats coming from GA and a buck from Missouri.  And we have 21 Satin Angora rabbits.  The Blue Face Leicester sheep have some of the finest wool for hand spinning with a strong natural crimp and it's shiny.

Welcome to the forum!

My husband said he knows where you're located.  He had to locate the phone line over by your house.  :)
I suspect if you drive by our house than you've seen kids and dogs in the road more than once.   :P  LOL
Well, anytime you come by, feel free to stop in and say hello.
