Ray Mac Coble, age 85, of Severy, Kansas, passed away on September 12, 2024 at KU Medical Center in Topeka, Kansas.  He was born on September 25, 1938 to George and Ula (McCollum) Coble.

Ray was a farmer for all of his life, working hard every day.  One of his passions was to take care of his cattle.  Ray was a one-of-a-kind dad, husband, and grandpa.  He always cherished getting to spend time with his family.  In his spare time, he loved to go hunting and fishing, but he also loved to be able to just talk.  Ray will be forever missed but always in our hearts.

Ray is survived by his wife, Evelyn Coble; his children, Tammy (Frank) Doane, Pam Coble, Danny (Lisa) Coble, and David (Jennifer) Coble; sister, Laura Putney; brother, Alan (Brenda) Coble; grandchildren, Kendra (Dan) Clark, Cara Sutton, Sondra (Brandon) Boyer, Tara (Chris) Lewis, Katie Coble, and Hailey Coble; and great-grandchildren, Kaelyn, Connor, Camdyn, Alexa, Addison, Alex, and Ava.  Ray is preceded in death by his father, George Coble; mother, Ula Coble; and sister, Ruth Barnes.

There will be a viewing held at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m.  Burial will take place at South Lawn Cemetery in Severy, Kansas.  Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas has been entrusted with arrangements.
