Birthday Surprise (Cox & Divine)

Mrs. Frank Baughman and Miss Edna Divine planned and carried our a very pleasant surprise on the former's mother and the latter's father, Mrs. Ida Cox and Mr. Geo. Divine, on Sunday evening, July 15, the occasion being their birthday anniversaries.  The evening was spent in visiting.  Refreshments of ice cream and cake were served.  Miss Edna baked the birthday cake, which bore 56 candles.  Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Will Baughman, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Baughman, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Divine, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Dudgeon and son, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baughman, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hagins and family, Mrs. Ida Cox, Mrs. Mattie Smith, Mrs. Will Cox and two children, Misses Mildred and Bonnie Baughman, Edna Divine, Hazel Smith, Maurice Buffalo, Robert and Raymond Divine, Glenn Smith and Geolard Baughman.
