Arsula E. Simmons, age 83, of Andover, Kansas, passed away June 3, 2024 in Wichita, Kansas.  She was born in Fall River, Kansas on September 1, 1940 to Nerine (Welch) and Walt E. Atkinson.

On January 20, 1962, Arsula married Donald W. Simmons in Severy, Kansas.  She retired as a patient account director at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.

Arsula is survived by her son, Lonnie Simmons of Rose Hill, Kansas; her son-in-law, Randy Gregg of Wichita, Kansas; her sisters, Karen (Lynn)Hughes of Charlotte North Carolina and Doreen (Eldon) Koop of Howard, Kansas; her grandchildren, Cody (Jessica) Simmons and Shelby (Kolby) Brown; and great-grandchildren, Lily and Emma Simmons, Layton Brown, and one on the way.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; and her daughter, Tonya Gregg.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 3 Wooden Crosses Cowboy Church, 5118 SW 100th Street in Augusta, Kansas.  Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery in Severy, Kansas.  Memorial donations can be made to 3 Wooden Crosses Cowboy Church, P.O. Box 533, Augusta, Kansas 67010.  Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta, Kansas has been entrusted with arrangements.
