Charles Raymond Rogers II, age 61, of Severy, Kansas, passed away on September 15, 2023 as a result of an auto accident.  He was born August 8, 1962 in Norfolk, Virginia, the son of Charles R. and Carol (Morris) Rogers.

Charles was a welder by trade.  He had the ability to fix just about anything.  He loved to go fishing anytime he could and enjoyed working in his garden and just being a friend to those who knew him.  Charles was known by many all around the area.   They knew he had a big heart. He loved the simple life to the fullest and would help anyone he could

Survivors include his five children, Brandi Mustain of Fredonia, Kansas, Daniel (Stephanie Maycroft) Barker of Fredonia, Kansas, Josey Rogers of Chanute, Kansas, Charley (Trenton) Brooks of Chanute, Kansas, and Charlotte Rogers of Fredonia, Kansas; his siblings, Janice Kraft of Coffeyville, Kansas, Wade Rogers of Fredonia, Kansas, Raeven Jansen of Gas City, Kansas, and Dwayne
Rogers; and 8 grandchildren, Chance, Makayla, and Mason Mustain, Patricia Maycroft, Caydence Hogue, Tyler Rogers, Carol Rogers, and Emily Leatherwood.  Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a twin brother, Jack Rogers.

Cremation has been effected.  A graveside memorial service wil be held at the Browns Chapel Cemetery on the south side of Fall River Lake in Greenwood County, Kansas on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.  Memorias have been suggested in his memory to either the American Heart Association or the Susan B.
