Glenn Eldon Typer, age 69, of Howard, Kansas, passed away October 7, 2022 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.  He was born October 12, 1952 in Greely, Colorado to William and Lara (Wing) Typer.

Glenn grew up alongside two siblings and graduated from Altoona-Midway High School in Altoona, Kansas. In 1970, he enlisted in the United Stats Navy where he proudly served his country.  He later went to work for Aeromock Labs in Wichita, Kansas where he was an instrumentalist.  He retired from there after many years of service.

In January 2000, Glenn married Theresa Shick.  They joined their two families together and have spent 22 wonderful years together.  Glenn liked tinkering on anything he could.  He enjoyed fishing, taking care of his animals, working on and riding motorcycles, and especially enjoyed rock hunting and making jewelry.  Most of all, Glenn cherished spending life with his best friend and wife, Theresa, and spending time with his grandkids.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Theresa of the home; his children, David (Junell) Typer of Holdrege, Nebraska, and Angelena (Alex) Cook of Augusta, Kansas; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Phoenix, Jacob, Tucker, Britton, Ashton, and Allie; and his service dogs, Diamond and Topaz.

Per Glenn's wishes, cremation has been requested.  The family will hold a private Celebration of Life.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349.
