Howard Courant
August 25, 1927

Married at Lincoln, Neb., Wednesday, August 24, 1927, Mr. Walter H. Chippenfield and Miss Mary Alice Thompson both of Lincoln.

The ceremoney took place on the uncovered balcony of the fourth floor of the Orlo Apartments, at sunrise, after which a simple breakfast was served, none but the immediate families being present.  The bride and groom then took a short drive to Beatrice and Virginia, Neb., to see a few friends, returning immediatley to 4618 Adams St., University Place, Lincoln, which will be their home.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Thompson, formerly of Howard, and was born in this city.  Also she is the niece of the publisher of this paper.  The groom is a Lincoln young man, the son of a merchant of that city, and expects to later be associated with his father in the business.

Alice is remembered by many of the Howard readers of this paper, who we are sure will join us with Unk Tom and Aunty Maude in wishing the young folks a long, happy and useful wedded life.
