Margaret Joan Wimberley, age 72, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away January 16, 2018.  She was born on December 7, 1945 to Everett Clinton and Eula Maria (Wells) Malone, the eighth of nine children.

Margaret grew up in the Belknap Community of Chautauqua County, Kansas and graduated from Sedan High School.  She was a pillar of joy, strength, and caring in her family, church, community, and everywhere she went.

Margaret is survived by her three children, Andy (Sarah), Lisa (Scott), and Jason; five grandchildren; and siblings, Virginia Banning, Les Malone, Winifred Bryan, Neil Malone, Ernest "Ernie" Malone, and Keith Malone.  She is preceded in death by her husband, John Wimberley; her parents, Everett and Eula Malone; and sisters, Edith Bridgwater and Marilyn Widdows.

Memorial services were held on February 10, 2018 at Avondale United Methodist Church, 3101 NE Winn Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64117.  The family suggests memorials to either the Avondale United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
