Larry Dean Knowles was born on November 28, 1946 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Leo and Leota (Deniston) Knowles.  He passed away November 25, 2016 at St. France Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.

Larry was united in marriage to Wilma Oneslager on March 27, 1964 in Wichita, Kansas.  He was a truck driver and mechanic for many years. 

His loving family includes his wife, Wilma of Piedmont, Kansas; children, Patsy (Tim) Bogle of Claremore, California, Larry Knowles, Jr. of Piedmont, Kansas, and Vickie (Kevin) Bechtle of Climax, Kansas; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his brother, Richard Knowles of Yucca, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents his daughter, Deana Knowles; his sisters, Sharon Brown and Vickie Okerstrom; and his brother, Roger Knowles.

A memorial service was held on November 29, 2016 at the Piedmont Cemetery in Piedmont, Kansas.  Carlson Funeral Home of El Dorado, Kansas was in charge of arrangements.  Memorial contributions in Larry's name may be directed to the Susan B.
