Above is a photo of an eastbound (I think) Saint Louis-San Francisco passenger train at Severy.

The depot was owned by the Frisco but was also used by the Santa Fe Howard Branch, which crossed north to south with the Frisco line in a diamond crossing similar to below.

To the right of the locomotive is a closed gate that blocked the Howard Branch.

Waldo, Myrna's Uncle Tom Bohan worked on the Frisco line his whole Career. They lived in Severy for many years. I remember him talking about that bad accident, I don't remember if he was on the one that had the accident or not.
