KNOW YOUR ENEMY: ATTACK OF THE NGOs

NGOs now regularly sue the government and private citizens to force policy. They have their legal fees and even damage awards paid to them out of the government treasury. Through a coordinated process, hundreds of NGOs are at work in Congress, in every state government and in every local community, advancing some component of the global environmental agenda.

However, the United States Constitution's Tenth Amendment bars the Federal Government from writing laws that dictate local policy. To by pass this roadblock, NGOs encourage Congress to include special grants to help states and communities to fund the new policy, should they want to "voluntarily" comply.

Should a community or state refuse to participate "voluntarily," local chapters of the NGOs are trained to go into action. They begin to pressure city councils or county commissioners to accept the grants and implement the policy. Should they meet resistance, they begin to issue news releases telling the community their elected officials are losing millions of dollars for the community. The pressure continues until the grant is finally taken and the policy becomes local law. This practice has resulted in the NGOs gaining incredible power on the local level.

Good post!

There really is nothing good about NGO's.
We have one here in Elk County and it has never accomplished anything except having people as Commissioners and voting to give their organization recreational money from the county coofers. But that eventually got fixed.

But i think we still have two of their members as Cou nty commissioners and act as puppets for their cotrolling organization.

Where there's two, there's more of 'em.

They really believe in government money, power, and programs - government overseers.

It ain't over till it's over.

Probably Unbeknownst to them,They are part of Obams's Left Wing Liberals being used to our nation and create havoc using their fictitious desire to help communities and by manipulating local governments through consensus of a very small group of people that have been manipulated with out their knowledge.

If you have a hard time believing that, it is time to pull your head out of the sand. Practically our countries whole population has been being manipulated for a number of decades and that is how our country has become over drugged and sexually perverted. And if you don't recognize the WAR on Christians by the evil left wingers don't you reckon you should do some searching on the internet.

Another thing, most people that feel, they have to BELONG to a group, are willing to give up or at least allow their personal ethics, ideologies and principles to be compromised in order to belong. And they do so unwittingly!

If a person speaks out about an NGO because they find something amiss, the whole group will turn on them.

When the NGO works secretly and won't open their book and won't list their members something is terribly wrong! Other wise instead of hiding they would operate with complete transparency instead of turning on and attacking the person asking.

Yep, there in-lies the rub !
