The Kansas government is attempting to circumvent the system of checks and balances by cutting off funding to the state Supreme Court.

Gun rights, secession, and nullification are three (3) checks and balances.  How much longer until the majority of Republicans abandon most gun rights?  Republicans don't have much staying power - sooner or later, socialism is the more attractive option for Republicans.

Brownback will maintain the government schools because he believes that government has a duty to control and maintain its own education system and to force it upon the public.  And the reconstructed Democrats are no different.

It's probably a good thing Ross did not get elected to school board because I don't think that he likes the government standards and rules that are made and in place for the socialist government school system.  Ross would not make for a very good tyrant or one to steal Americans' liberty to improve "their" local socialist government schooling.  By the way, I'm thinking that Ross ought to run for County Commissioner - makes sense to me.
