David Ellsworth Lemon, 68, a resident of Mineral Wells, Texas, died December 30, 2014 at Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth, Texas.  He was born July 20, 1946 to Harvey "Pat" and Mary (Porter) Lemon.

David was a graduate of Moline High School Class of 1964.  In 1967, he was drafted into the United States Army and received his honorable discharge in December 1968.  On October 15, 1972, he married Ruby Greer.  They later divorced.

Survivors include his children, Angela Fritz (Dale) of Eureka, Kansas and David T. Lemon of Fredonia, Kansas; his sisters, Patricia Barry of Independence, Kansas and Janet Patee (William) and Joyce Pyle (Joseph), both of Mineral Wells, Texas; and seven grandchildren, Christian Fritz of Augusta, Georgia, Alexis Fritz of Fredonia, Kansas, Riley Fritz and Brady Fritz, both of Eureka, Kansas, and Courtney Lemon, Kamee Lemon, and Reno Lemon, all of Chanute, Kansas.  In addition to his parents, one infant son, Terry E. Lemon, preceded him in death.

Cremation has taken place, and services will be held at a later date.
