My aunts and uncles say that my Grandpa Zollars played town ball at Longton which was semipro. They say that he was a pretty good catcher. Did they have town teams? Were they semi-pro? Are you sorry that you allowed me to sign on and ask so many questions? HA!

Never sorry to have you as a member.  Wish I had some answers, but I don't.  My maternal grandfather was an acquaintance of one of the brother gangs.  I think it was the Daltons.  Whichever one hung out in southwestern Kansas between raids.  He and his six brothers hung with the brothers, didn't run with them, just hung out with them.  His six brothers all looked like outlaws themselves and the only picture I have seen of them, they were all packing.

Mother,

I think you wanted to put this answer with the board that talked about the gangs.  I think it is on the obit board.

Wilma

Actually, I just wanted to tell Buddyboy that we aren't sorry he joined us and I digressed.

Janet Harrington

Of course.  We are glad that he joined us.

I love them, too.  I really like this forum and I look forward to having time during the day or evening to be on the forum and say just about anything I want.

Wilma

When did you have to be on the forum to say what you want?
