Barbara Joan (Mason) Blocher passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014.  She was born in Grenola, Kansas to Jean D. Mason and Stella LaVerne (Douglas) Mason.

Barbara was a graduate of Grenola High School.  After graduation, she went on to cosmetology school which she completed.  She lived in the Park City, Kansas area for many years where she had many friends and extended family.  She never met a stranger; she enjoyed talking to people, loved music, and liked dances.  She was very proud of her daughter and granddaughter.  She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Andrea (John) Boyd of Land O'Lakes,  Florida; granddaughter, Gabrielle; sister, Betty Pulliam; and brothers, Bill (Frances) Mason and James (Cynthia) Mason.  She is preceded in death by her husbands, Merle Berry and Norman Blocher.

Visitation service will be from 5:00 to 7:00 on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Kansas.  Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola, Kansas.  Memorials are to Victory in the Valley.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com.  Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.
