Grace Marie Fox, 87, passed away May 7, 2014.  Grace was born to Walter R. and Olive L. (Burkhart) Jacob.

She spent her first 26 years with her parents and sisters on the family farm where she enjoyed helping her dad with the cattle and in the field.  She attended Valley Center country schools and graduated from Maize High School.  Grace married Vernon Fox on March 8, 1953.  They started their married life in the Severy, Kansas area.  While in Severy, they had four children.  She retired from her job as secretary at Ark Valley Christian School after working there for 15 years.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Vernon Fox; sister, Clara (Vernon) Jones of Howard, Kansas and Wildena Schreier of Fort Dodge, Iowa; children, Colleen Evangea, LeAnn (George) Maskrid, David Fox, and Glenn (Kim) Fox; grandchildren, Nichole (Lloyd) Laurence, Andrea Maskrid, Brit Maskrid, ShawnMarie Rooker, and Jacob Fox; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Services were held on May 10, 2014 at Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center, Kansas.  Memorials have been established with Alpha Christian Children's Home in Perry, Kansas.
