I have it on good authority that a bomb threat was made towards Elk Valley yesterday.
The Elk County Sheriff and deputies were at the school late last night and a person has been arrested.
School is continuing today.

Some children have not gone to school and others have gone home today.

That is all the information I have at the moment.

I just returned home from Elk Valley School.
From what I could get.
There was no bomb threat , i repeat there was no bomb threat.

The real problem was a boy told some girls he was going to shoot some people.
The girls reported it to the administration.

The boy was arrested and the sheriff searched the school and the boys home for a gun.
Reportedly no gun was found.

Apparently through the kids talk before school today rumors were flying about a bomb.

I was told the school staff and teachers are staying in a high alert for the remainder of the day.

Even though, I am well known at Elk Valley School, I was stopped and questioned by a staff member. I told her thank you for being alert.

Good for that young lady ,all threats should be taking serious.
