Richard Charles "Rick" Swinger, 61, of Garfield, Arkansas, entered into rest February 16, 2014 after a short battle with lung cancer.  Rick was born July 31, 1952 in Winfield, Kansas to Charles Leroy and Alyce Pearl (Dorris) Swinger.

Rick was a resident of Garfield, Arkansas for the past 33 years and was a cabinet builder by trade.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends and was always willing to lend a hand.  He also enjoyed fishing and watching sports on TV.

He is survived by his daughters, Lori Rolison and husband, Daniel of Saucier, Mississippi and Lisa Wilke and husband, Scott of Seligman, Missouri; brothers, Ron Swinger and wife, Charlene and Gary Swinger and wife, Pam, both of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Gloria (Swinger) Broadbooks and husband, Dave of Rogers, Arkansas; grandchildren, Makenzie, Montana, Mollie, Matthan, Malachi, Miles, Luke, Sage, Samuel, and Jude; and 4 nieces and 3 nephews.  Rick was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Darrel and Duane.

Memorial services were held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Student Center East at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers, Arkansas.  Arrangements were with the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, Arkansas.

The Swinger family lived in Howard, Kansas during the 1950s.  I believe they attended the First Christian Church in Howard.
