"Military idolatry indeed.  A beer company glorifying the American Empire's endless wars of aggression.  So wave the flag and have another Bud."

Bullwinkle

Thanking our soldiers for their service to our country and making sure they aren't treated like Viet vets were is hardly idolatry. They certainly aren't glorifying war in the ad.

You would do better to stay on top of those who wage the war, not those fighting it, and they certainly aren't an American Empire. Views such as yours aren't going to wake up the many Americans who go blindly through their day, clueless as to what the elected idiots are doing to our country behind closed doors.

Why wait for the 'clueless', as you call 'em, to wake up?  I'm not about to wait much.

This idea to re-construct the world to Washington's image isn't right - whether it's done by a soldier or politician.  Shall we stand for globalism or the U.S. Constitution?

The U. S. venture into Viet Nam was supposedly to stand against the spread of communism.  Look at Viet Nam now and what are we doing to stand against socialism in this country and what are the troops doing over there in the Arab world besides creating more newly improved muslim governments?

Just look at today's U S military and what its veterans are saying - that ought to tell you something.

Are you encouraging young men to sign up?   If so, cause why?

Bullwinkle

I'm not about to encourage someone to join, especially now when the administration is doing it's best to destroy the military.

I'm also not about to blame those serving, for in many cases, taking the only job available to them.

I would point a finger at the old money power. Rockefeller, Carnegie, Kennedy, et al , that have been the ones calling the shots for a long time.
