Glenna Kaye (Gifford) Tatman, 59, passed away peacefully at her home in Iola, Kansas on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.  Kaye was born January 26, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Glenn F. and Lolita "Dell" (Pierce) Gifford.

Kaye was a 1972 graduate of North Elk High School in Howard/Severy, Kansas.  On June 21, 1979, she was united in marriage to Donald W. Tatman, and the couple was blessed with four children: Timothy, Angela, Andrea, and Brandon.  She was a member of the First Christian (DOC) Church in Yates Center, Kansas.

Kaye is survived by her husband, Don Tatman of the home; her sons, Timothy and Stephanie Tatman of Kiowa, Oklahoma and Brandon Tatman of Iola, Kansas; her daughters, Angie Tatman and Eric B'Hymer  and Andrea Tatman and Brandon Weide, all of Iola, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Matthew, Timothy, Tegan, Emma, Madison, Trevor, and Tyler; her brother, Kenneth Gifford of Hutchinson, Kansas; and her sister, Brenda Peterson of Topeka, Kansas.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Jan Kind.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Fellowship Regional Church in Iola, Kansas.  Burial was held at the Yates Center Cemetery in Yates Center, Kansas.  Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.  Memorial gifts may be left with the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel, 16 N.
