Polly Elizabeth Henry, age 26, of Toronto, Kansas. passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.  Polly was born in Brighton, Colorado on February 22, 1987, the daughter of Clint and Jane (Bailey) Henry.

On October 13, 2007, she married William Galey in Independence, Kansas and later divorced.  To this union was born one child, Adam Lee Galey.  Polly was a homemaker and most importantly, a mother.  She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints, loved the library, being outdoors, and going to Black Powder rendezvous.

Survivors along with her son, Adam, include her parents, Clint and Jane Henry of Toronto, Kansas; brothers, Harold Henry of Udall, Kansas, David Henry of Moline, Kansas, Michael Henry of Kansas City, Missouri, Clint Henry of Elk City, Kansas, and Tony Henry of Independence, Kansas; sisters, Nancy Renfro of Toronto, Kansas, Bonnie Humphrey of Fall River, Kansas, and Christina Henry of Independence, Kansas; 22 nieces and nephews; and 1 great-niece and 1 great-nephew.

Polly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Lillian Bailey and Ed and Lela Henry; an uncle, Marvin Henry; an aunt, Mozelle Wood; and a great-nephew, Santiago Phoenix Avalos.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Church of the Latter Day Saints in Iola, Kansas with Bishop Harry Lee officiating.  Burial will follow at Little Sandy Cemetery.  Visitation is Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, Kansas.  There will also  be a visitation at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, at the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Adam Lee Galey Trust Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th Street, Fredonia, Kansas 66736.
