We have snow . . . we have ice . . . we have no school . . . the courthouse is closed . . . it's a home-bound day for most of us and I love it!

Great present..enjoy from inside.  That's what I'm doing.

I know winters can get quite fierce in Kansas where you live.

I heard a story about a Kansas owner of a construction project felt he was doing a good deed when he bought earmuffs for his part-time employee, Jarhead.

Noticing, however, that Jarhead wasn't wearing the earmuffs even on the coldest snowy day, the project manager asked, "Didn't you like the muffs?"

Jarhead said, "They're a thing of beauty."

"Why don't you wear them?" the Project Manager said.

Jarhead explained, "I was wearing them the first day, and Wima offered to buy me lunch, but I didn't hear her!  
Never again, never again!"


Belive it or not, we had snow yesterday here in the Phoenix area,
first time in a long, long time:
