I wish I would have seen this when it was produced.
Perhaps Warph can upload the video for you.
I am unable to upload video's at this time.

This is terrifying in so many ways.

But here is the link for you to go to:

Also check out H.R. 3200, it says, "During the shutdown the Senate and the Library of Congress are no longer providing timely updates to legislative information. As a result, some information on GovTrack may fall out of date during this time.

However the txt is still there.

We came four votes away from the U.S. Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations.

In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads:

"To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty."

The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration,

would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms.

The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S.

and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.  note none from TX.

Here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N

Remember these names at election time!

Parks Service Grants Permission for Pro-Immigration Reform Protest on 'Closed' National Mall
by Noah Rothman | 1:42 pm, October 7th, 2013

The Parks Service continued to generate ill-will and alienate the voting public on Monday after a series of highly publicized stories last week surrounding the unnecessary closure of a variety of open-air spaces, including the World War II Memorial, captured the nation's attention. On Monday, The Parks Service confirmed that they granted permission for a pro-immigration reform group to hold protests on the "closed" National Mall.

The protest will be hosted by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the AFL-CIO and is expected to be attended by prominent Democrats, including Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ).

"Organizers for the "Camino Americano: March for Immigration Reform" were spotted Monday setting up a stage and equipment on the National Mall for the rally which will take place on Tuesday," reported The Washington Examiner's Charlie Spiering. "Susana Flores, a spokesperson for the rally, confirmed for the Washington Examiner that the Park Service will allow the event to take place under the group's rights granted by the First Amendment."

Spiering reports that approximately 30 members of Congress are expected to attend the immigration reform rally.

Economist Wesbury: Talk of Default a 'Scare Tactic'

Tuesday, 08 Oct 2013 08:11 AM

Failure by Congress and the White House to agree on a debt ceiling increase won't cause the government to default on its debt payments, says Brian Wesbury, chief economist at First Trust Advisors.

"This idea of default is a scare tactic," he told Yahoo.

"In October we will take in $200 billion in tax receipts, and we only owe $25 billion in interest payments. . . . As long as the Treasury targets the revenues that are coming in to pay interest, we will never default on a bond the U.S. has outstanding," Wesbury added.

Editor's Note:  Obama's Budget Takes Aim at Retired Americans

"We're not going to default on our debt. In fact, if the Treasury defaulted on the debt it would be a dereliction of duty because they have way more resources than they need to pay the interest when it comes due on every single bond that's outstanding."

To be sure, the government wouldn't be able to fund all its obligations. "He [President Obama] is going to have to make hard choices," Wesbury said.

"Do you pay the military, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, the Agriculture Department? If you can't borrow, there's a lot of the government that would have to shut down because you can't afford it."

The government borrows 30 to 40 cents out of every dollar it spends, Wesbury says.

As for the government shutdown, "this thing could easily last a month or two or three without any major impact on the economy," he said.

But former Federal Reserve Governor Laurence Meyer is concerned about a long-term closing.

"I don't want to get into a couple of quarters, but if it lasts a longer period of time, we could have the worst recession in the post-war period," he told CNBC.

"This could lead to the unemployment rate getting to 15 percent."

Democratic lawmakers arrested during immigration protest

Representaive John Lewis (D-GA) is arrested on Capitol Hill in an act of civil disobedience to encourage support of immigration reform, October 8, 2013 on The National Mall in Washington DC as thousands rallied in support of immigration reform on the National Mall in Washington DC.

By Andrew Rafferty, Staff Writer, NBC News

Eight Democratic lawmakers were arrested Tuesday while advocating for comprehensive immigration reform in front of the U.S. Capitol.

Democratic Reps. John Lewis of Georgia, Luis Gutierrez of Illinois, Charlie Rangel of New York, Raul Grijalva of Arizona, Joe Crowley of New York, Jan Schakowsky of Illinois, Keith Ellison of Minnesota and Al Green of Texas were all detained by Capitol Police. The politicians, along with activists who attended an immigration rally on the National Mall Tuesday afternoon, staged a sit-in near the west side of the Capitiol.

Authorities arrested the lawmakers for crowding and disrupting the streets around the Capitol. Police arrested almost 200 people during the protest.

"We cannot rest, we cannot be satisfied until we have comprehensive immigration reform," Lewis told reporters earlier in the day.

The arrest was Lewis' 45th, according to his twitter account. The civil rights advocate has been known to participate in sit-ins and protests throughout his many years in Congress.

"My colleagues and I are not afraid to get arrested for what we believe is important to move America forward," Rangel tweeted.

Thousands descended on the National Mall on Tuesday for an immigration reform rally and march. Mostly Democratic politicians took the stage, encouraging those gathered to not give up on the fight to reform the country's immigration laws, despite the bleak political climate that has shut down the federal government and sidelined any hopes of reform.

But despite the day's enthusiasm for reform, any sort of comprehensive bill will be an heavy lift in the current political climate. In June, House Speaker John Boehner declined to put a Senate-passed immigration bill up for a vote, waiting instead on "piecemeal" legislation from GOP House members. That effort never materialized.

Still, the rally was largely aimed at telling those pushing for reform to not give up hope.

"I thank you for subscribing to the idea: Don't agonize, organize," Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told the crowd. "Let us act without further delay, let's get a vote on the Floor...because the time for immigration reform is now."
"Si se puede," she yelled -- "Yes we can."

NBC News' Luke Russert and Frank Thorp contributed reporting.

UNREAL. Sebelius Says "Absolutely No Evidence That
Part-Time Work Is Going Up"

Tuesday, October 8, 2013, 7:20 PM

Last night Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius went on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart over the widespread glitches in signing up for Obamacare. During the interview Sebelius claimed there "was "absolutely no evidence" that part-time work is going up.

(What a Shameless Liar – and this creepy woman was Gov. of Kansas??
You are darn lucky to get rid of her!)

Via JWF reported:

http://www.jammiewf.com/2013/clueless-sebelius-has-no-idea-how-many-people-have-enrolled-in-obamacare/

Later, while addressing the issue of businesses cutting back hours for employees to avoid having to provide health care under the new regulations, Sebelius held firm. "Economists, not anecdotal folks, but economists, say there is absolutely no evidence that part-time work is going up. In fact, it's going down," she said. The secretary also said that for the first time ever, part-time employees in the United Sates would now have the option to purchase health insurance under the new law.

What a complete lie!

For the record...
Of 953,000 Jobs Created In 2013, 77%, Or 731,000 Are Part-Time

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-08-02/obamacare-full-frontal-953000-jobs-created-2013-77-or-731000-are-part-time

And it's likely to get worse...

Obamacare will kill off at least two percent of the US full-time workforce.

Obamacare is accelerating the US towards a part-time nation: http://www.forbes.com/sites/theapothecary/2013/07/31/who-can-deny-it-obamacare-is-accelerating-u-s-towards-a-part-time-nation/

But... Sebelius says part-time work is not going up.  What a crock!

Nice.  PA High School Plans "Trayvon Martin Day",
Kids Told To Wear Hoodies

Tuesday, October 8, 2013, 2:11 PM

Carrick High School in Pittsburgh, PA is encouraging its high school students to dress like a criminal, get high, flip the bird on social media, vandalize property, possibly physically assault their teachers, physically assault the bus driver, and get suspended THREE times from school for drugs, truancy, graffiti, and getting caught by police with a bag of women's jewelry and burglary tools.

And they're shocked that parents are outraged.

According to CBS Pittsburgh:
http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2013/10/07/parents-upset-after-trayvon-martin-day-planned-during-local-homecoming-week/

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Parents were upset after Carrick High School approved a plan to have a Trayvon Martin theme day during the school's homecoming.

The homecoming committee, and school voted and approved the theme which is part of school spirit week.

Parents were upset that kids were being encouraged to wear hoodies to school during the Wednesday theme.

How about honoring someone the high school students would be better off aspiring to become?  Like Chris Lane, the 22 year old Australian student attending college on a scholarship, who was gunned down in a thrill killing by "bored teenagers" in Oklahoma.
