Warph,
Looks like Ms Warren might have her tickie in a wringer again, and a more serious thing this time. Looks as though the ol hide might have been practicing law without a license

Patriot

And now comes the allegation that she practiced law in the state of MA without a license.  She, of course, is denying it.  In spite of the fact she submitted Amicus briefs to the US Supreme Court using the address of the MA law firm where she worked... in violation of a SCOTUS ruling that one must be admitted to the state supreme court in the state from where the briefs are being submitted.

I'm no close friend of the Republicans (since many are only in vitro dems in incubation), but it seems that the Demoncrats have shed all sense of honesty & morality.  Not unlike Harry Reid who said this morning that fellow Mormon Romney had 'sullied; the Morman religion.

Of course, since we've established that the Dem party is not Christian (as evidenced by their claims to so many things that contradict the Bible), they therefore hold no moral codes against bearing false witness.  So I guess lying, cheating, thievery & willful neglect of mans governmental laws are to be expected.  Sad, really sad.

Conservative to the Core!

Social engineering, left OR right usually ends in a train wreck.

I guess ol' Lizzie might be running out of luck for that ol' senatorial seat.  She seems to be a good Democrat, tho'.  You can tell that by the way she lies.  I guess she's not as lucky as she thought she was.

Why ???

Blaming Our Troops
'Friendly' fire attacks have killed dozens of our heroes. The Pentagon's response? Ordering sensitivity training about Islam

By PAUL SPERRY
http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion/opedcolumnists/blaming_our_troops_gsNkgSOnejhkmabM2KA6TI

Afghan security forces, our supposed allies, are slaughtering American troops. Thirty-three soldiers have been killed by "green on blue" attacks this year alone. The situation is so bad that the training of Afghan forces has been temporarily suspended.

How has the Pentagon responded?

* * * By blaming our troops.* * *

Top officials believe culturally offensive behavior is the motivation behind the killings, so it's stepped up Islamic sensitivity training for our troops.

If you don't want to be shot in the back by your Afghan training partners, the Pentagon advises, don't offend their religious sensibilities. Don't kick your feet up on a table, for instance, and never ask to see a picture of their wives and kids. "There's a percentage [of attacks] which are cultural affronts," Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey said in a recent interview.

Dempsey echoes the concerns of Gen. Sher Mohammad Karimi, the Afghan National Army's chief of staff, who earlier this month argued both sides need to do more to "teach" foreign troops Islamic traditions and values to reduce the chance of violent reactions to cultural slights.

"It is our duty to teach this to them. Our indifference about these issues causes the incident," he said.

In the past three years, uniformed Afghans have murdered at least 97 US and NATO troops.

The Taliban has taken credit for many of the attacks, but the Pentagon has been reluctant to admit widespread infiltration of the Afghan security forces it's training.

Standing up a national army and police force that can protect the US-sponsored government in Kabul is the linchpin of President Obama's announced 2014 withdrawal strategy.

Some 120,000 American and other foreign troops mix closely with 350,000 Afghan security forces. Afghan trainees and guards are co-located on US bases, where they share bathrooms, gyms and mess halls.

To avoid offending them, US commanders are putting troops through intense Muslim sensitivity training. Among other things, they've been ordered to:

* Wear surgical gloves whenever handling a copy of the Koran.

* Never walk in front of a praying Muslim.

* Never show the bottom of boots while sitting or lying across from a Muslim, which in Islam is considered an insult.

* Never share photos of wives or daughters.

* Never smoke or eat in front of Muslims during the monthlong Ramadan fasting.

* Avoid winking, cursing or nose-blowing in the presence of Muslims — all viewed as insults in Islam.

* Avoid exiting the shower without a towel.

* Avoid offering and accepting things with the left hand, which in Islam is reserved for bodily hygiene and considered unclean.

Troops who violate the sensitivity rules face severe punishment.

Military officials who have done tours in Afghanistan are outraged that brass would even suggest US troops are partly to blame for their own murders.

"I would like to see a public affairs officer explain to the press where showing the bottom of your shoe to a Muslim or shaking with your left hand was legitimate grounds for murder," growled one US Army official.

They say their Muslim partners would still resent them even if they followed their Islamic protocols to the letter.

"The cultural affronts excuse is a bunch of garbage," a senior US Army intelligence official told me. "The Afghans that know we're doing all this PC cultural sensitivity crap are laughing their asses off at our stupidity
."

Explained the intelligence official: "They're killing us because we're 'infidels' occupying Islamic lands. It's what the Koran and every imam over there is telling them, and no amount of cultural sensitivity is going to stop that or change the fact that we're 'infidels.' "

Indeed, a Taliban video released last month revealed uniformed Afghans are itching for a chance to "kill infidels."

"I opened fire on three Americans who were sitting together," a rogue Afghan soldier, identified as Ghazi Mahmood, says while smiling for the camera. "The reason I killed them is because they have occupied our country. They are enemies of our religion."

Internally, the military has acknowledged the larger religious problem. A May 2011 study commissioned by the US Army says "fratricidal" assaults by uniformed Afghans stem in part from Afghan religious attitudes that their American counterparts are "infidel bullies." (The same report says US troops regarded their Afghan training partners as "treacherous and murderous radicals" secretly colluding with the Taliban.)

Further pointing up the absurdity of putting troops through Islamic finishing school: The intelligence official notes that if there are any truly obnoxious cultural offenses, they are committed by Afghan trainees quartered inside our bases.

"They like to stand on our toilets and poop all over them," he said.

Why? They refuse to touch the toilet seats used by the "dirty infidels" they're training and living with
.

The latest Utah poll shows conservative Mia Love has taken the lead in Utah's 4th District.
That means the race has seen a 28 point swing to Love since July.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported:

"Mia Love's campaign released internal polling numbers that show the race for Utah's 4th District seat have taken a dramatic swing, giving her a big lead over Democrat Jim Matheson."

"Love's polling firm, Public Opinion Strategies, said that Love is now leading the race, 51-36, and "This heavily Republican district is coming home." POS said its July poll of the district showed Matheson leading 51-38, meaning the race took a 28-point swing.

WH Silent Over Demands to Denounce 'Pi$$ Christ' Artwork
By Todd Starnes, Fox News & Commentary

Religious groups are blasting President Obama for not condemning am anti-Christian art display set to appear in New York City and one Republican lawmaker said he is "fed up with the administration's religious hypocrisy.

"Pi$$ Christ," once branded as a "deplorable, despicable display of vulgarity," will be displayed at the Edward Tyler Nahem Gallery in Manhattan on Thursday. The artwork features a "photograph of the crucifix submerged in the artist's urine."

Religious groups and some lawmakers have already started sounding off – and making comparisons to the controversy over a recent anti-Muslim film. The low budget movie "Innocence of Muslims" sparked violent and deadly clashes across the globe.

It also brought strong rebukes, condemnations and apologies from President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and a host of administration officials.

Obama: "The Future Does Not Belong to Those Who Slander the Prophet of Islam"
...as Barack Obama told the UN General Assembly today.

Here's the transcript, via MRCTV:

The future must not belong to those who target Coptic Christians in Egypt – it must be claimed by those in Tahrir Square who chanted "Muslims, Christians, we are one." The future must not belong to those who bully women – it must be shaped by girls who go to school, and those who stand for a world where our daughters can live their dreams just like our sons. The future must not belong to those corrupt few who steal a country's resources – it must be won by the students and entrepreneurs; workers and business owners who seek a broader prosperity for all people. Those are the men and women that America stands with; theirs is the vision we will support.

The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims, and Shiite pilgrims. It is time to heed the words of Gandhi: "Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit." Together, we must work towards a world where we are strengthened by our differences, and not defined by them. That is what America embodies, and that is the vision we will support.

Obama went on to blame the anti-Islam YouTube video for Mideast violence.

Obama has yet to denounce Pi$$ Christ.

Navy SEALs to Obama: We Aren't Bumps in the Road
By Katie Pavlich
9/26/2012

http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2012/09/26/navy_seals_to_obama_we_arent_bumps_in_the_road

Navy SEALs are hitting back against President Obama again for his comments this week that the events in Libya, including the murder of four Americans, were "bumps in the road." Navy SEALs Tyrone S. Woods and Glen A. Doherty were among those brutally murdered in the attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya on 9/11. Former Navy SEAL Ryan Zinke, an outspoken critic of President Obama, released the following statement on his Super PAC website:

The President refuses to admit that his policy of appeasement and apology has failed. The murder of our Ambassador and two former Navy SEALs is more than a "bump in the road," it is a global catastrophe where America is seen as being weak and vulnerable by our enemies. This President has failed to establish a red line for Iran's nuclear ambitions and has failed to recognize the scale and implications of the attacks against us. Reagan had it right: don't negotiate with terrorists and recognize the clear and present danger of not being willing to act or lead from the front.

White House Press Secretary Jay "Baghdad Bob" Carney denied President Obama was referring to the murders of Americans when he said the comment and tried to explain the comments were in reference to countries rebuilding after revolution:

"The President was making clear that in this historic transformation that's taking place in the region that progress won't come in a straight line, that there will be challenges."

"This transformation will not happen overnight and we will certainly encounter challenges."

"The President as you know is not minimizing what we recognize as historic transformations taking place and the President is certainly not minimizing the challenges."

'That assertion (of Obama referring to the murders of Americans as 'bumps in the road') is both desperate and offensive."

"There is a certain desperate attempt to grasp at words for political advantage here and once again, that's offensive."

"When your hope is in astrology, your head is in Uranus"

Economics is generally considered a soft science, as opposed to physics or chemistry, which are hard scientists. Hard, not because difficult, although they are, but because they are

characterized as relying on quantifiable empirical data, relying on the scientific method, and focusing on accuracy and objectivity.

Whereas soft sciences, like psychology, sociology, anthropology and economics do not. They are characterized by superstitions, lies, circular reasoning, academic quackery, political correctness, and brain farts. (Although I may be mistaken about this.)

So it should come as no surprise that Wall Street traders, who are to economists what phrenologists are to really smart phrenologists, should turn to astrologers to help them earn a paycheck:

http://www.marketplace.org/topics/economy/astrology-guides-some-financial-traders

Financial astrologers like Karen Starich say traders know they're up against a lot of rich, smart people.

"They want to have that edge," she says. "They want to know what the future is."

Starich chargest $237 annually for her newsletter, which 300 traders subscribe to for news of what will happen to the stock prices of companies, or even bigger, to the Federal Reserve. She sees dark times ahead in the Fed's horoscope.

"They now have Saturn squared to Neptune, which is really bankruptcy," Starich explains.

Neptune represents money. But when Saturn shows up in a chart, it indicates restriction. So for the Fed, that means the "fiscal cliff is here, and there's no place to go except to print more money or unravel these financial institutions," Starich says.

Of course, a lot of Wall Street traders, and others, don't want it to be known that they're relying on anything other than their own talent. Arch Crawford, a financial astrologer who actually got his start on Wall Street as a stock analyst at Merrill Lynch, recalls one subscriber asking for his newsletter in "brown paper wrappers."

Crawford warns his 2,000 subscribers particularly against the dangers of Mercury in retrograde—

I'm sorry, I couldn't even finish the quote...  it is soooooo stupid.

Is it worth expending even the electricity to express the contempt with which I hold astrology?  That someone would pay even one thin drachma to consult one of these frauds is itself a sign of both Original Sin and Original Stupidity.  Obviously, the fall from grace resulted in dented noggins.

The OT prohibition against consulting mediums was intended to warn against trafficking in dark forces. But some prohibitions I'm convinced were just to keep people from looking like total morons, as if God were saying, "Please stop making me look bad. Sin can be forgiven but stupid is forever."

:o (OMG. WHO KNEW?) - Subsidies for Electronic Medical Records Leads to Higher Medicare Bills  :o

Government subsidies often produce unintended consequences. The latest example comes from the New York Times, which reports that federal subsidizes to encourage doctors and hospitals to use electronic billing and recording records are leading to larger Medicare bills. That means that taxpayers are taking a double hit even though policymakers claimed that electronic record-keeping would make health care delivery more efficient, and thus less costly.
