Mother Of Slain Benghazi Victim RIPS Hillary Clinton: "I Blame Her"

Mother Of Sean Smith:" I Blame Hillary Clinton For The Death Of My Son."

(Every time I see Pat Smith and her pain, it infuriates me anew. "Not a member of the immediate family", so they wouldn't give her answers?  She correctly pegs it, "They're hiding behind" calling it political because they weren't doing their job.)

Pat Smith's son Sean Smith, a State Department information officer, was one of four Americans killed during the attack:

CNN's JAKE TAPPER: One woman still looking for answers is Pat Smith. Her son, State Department Information Officer Sean Smith was one of the four Americans killed. Pat, thanks so much for being here. I know this is not an easy time. How are you holding up?

PAT SMITH, MOTHER OF SEAN SMITH, KILLED IN BENGHAZI: Terrible. I cry every night. I don't sleep at night. I need answers.

TAPPER: What do you want answers to? What do you not know?

SMITH: Why was there no security for him? When they were supposed to have security and the security that they did have was called back. It just — things do not add up and I'm just told lies.

TAPPER: Last week, you heard this in the piece the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said that Benghazi happened a long time ago.

SMITH: Yes, it did.

TAPPER: Eight months ago.

SMITH: Yes.

TAPPER: What is your reaction to that?

SMITH: Why don't they have answers by now? They've had plenty of time to come up with something other than the things they have not told me.

TAPPER: Are you concerned at all that the hearings and Benghazi that has become a political issue, the Republicans have turned it into a political issue. The Democrats have turned it into a political issue as opposed to being a scandal and a tragedy apart from politics?

SMITH: Of course, it's political. That's the way it's been. That's how they're treating it. That's what they're doing with it. They're making it into something that — why don't they just do their job? They didn't do their job and now they're hiding behind the word political and going from there.

CNN: Many Outstanding Questions On The Benghazi Attack

CNN's Jake Tapper: Sources tell CNN that Greg Hicks, then the number two diplomat in Libya, will testify tomorrow that after the first attack on the compound in Benghazi, but before the second attack on the CIA annex, four U.S. Special Forces troops in Tripoli discussed reaching Benghazi in a Libyan aircraft.

But the troops were told to stand down, much to the dismay of their commander who, according to Hicks, said I have never been so embarrassed in my life that a State Department officer has bigger balls than somebody in the military.

Now, that flight left an hour after the second attack, so it's not clear it would have made a difference, but it's also unclear why they were told not to go. Hicks says he thought it was a terrorist attack from the get-go. But the White House seemed eager to claim it was a protest of an anti-Muslim video. One that got out of hand

WHOA!... BREAKING: Navy SEAL Team VI Families to Reveal Government's Culpability in Death of Their Sons – Thursday at Nat. Press Club
Posted by Jim Hoft on Thursday, May 9, 2013, 12:07 AM
Out of Touch — Rebuke of Clinton and Obama from the Heart of a Mother

Karen Vaughn, mother of fallen Navy Seal of Aaron Carson Vaughn, reacted to Barack Obama's campaign ad "One Chance" last year. Karen and Billy Vaughn lost their son Aaron, a Navy SEAL, in Afghanistan in 2011.

* * * * * * * * *

Now the families are speaking out—

NAVY SEAL TEAM VI FAMILIES TO REVEAL GOVERNMENT'S CULPABILITY IN DEATH OF THEIR SONS IN FATAL HELICOPTER CRASH IN AFGHANISTAN FOLLOWING SUCCESSFUL RAID ON BIN LADEN'S COMPOUND

DATE: THURSDAY MAY 9, 2013
PLACE: NATIONAL PRESS CLUB (HOLEMAN LOUNGE)
529 14th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20045
TIME: 10 AM – 11 AM

Check C-SPAN

Three families of Navy SEAL Team VI special forces servicemen, along with one family of an Army National Guardsman, will appear at a press conference on May 9, 2013, to disclose never before revealed information about how and why their sons along with 26 others died in a fatal helicopter crash in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011, just a few months after the successful raid on the compound of Osama Bin Laden that resulted in the master terrorist's death.

Accompanying the families of these dead Navy SEAL Team VI special operations servicemen will be retired military experts verifying their accounts of how and why the government is as much responsible for the deaths of their sons as is the Taliban.

The areas of inquiry at the press conference will include but not be limited to:

1.How President Obama and Vice President Biden, having disclosed on May 4, 2011, that Navy SEAL Team VI carried out the successful raid on Bin Laden's compound resulting in the master terrorist's death, put a retaliatory target on the backs of the fallen heroes.

2.How and why high-level military officials sent these Navy SEAL Team VI heroes into battle without special operations aviation and proper air support.

3.How and why middle-level military brass carries out too many ill-prepared missions to boost their standing with top-level military brass and the Commander-in-Chief in order that they can be promoted.

4.How the military restricts special operations servicemen and others from engaging in timely return fire when fired upon by the Taliban and other terrorist groups and interests, thus jeopardizing the servicemen's lives.

5.How and why the denial of requested pre-assault fire may have contributed to the shoot down of the Navy SEAL Team VI helicopter and the death of these special operations servicemen.

6.How Afghani forces accompanying the Navy SEAL Team VI servicemen on the helicopter were not properly vetted and how they possibly disclosed classified information to the Taliban about the mission, resulting in the shoot down of the helicopter.

7.How military brass, while prohibiting any mention of a Judeo-Christian God, invited a Muslim cleric to the funeral for the fallen Navy SEAL Team VI heroes who disparaged in Arabic the memory of these servicemen by damning them as infidels to Allah. A video of the Muslim cleric's "prayer" will be shown with a certified translation.

"This press conference takes on special significance given that our government has over the last twelve years since September 11th committed brave American servicemen to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that, in large part as a result of politics, were poorly conceived of and implemented, resulting in the deaths of thousands and the maiming of tens of thousands of our brave heroes. To make matters even worse, America has effectively lost these wars," stated Larry Klayman, legal counsel for the families.

Eric Cantor Schedules Repeal Vote on Obamacare

The House Republican leadership has scheduled a floor vote next week on a measure that would repeal the 2010 healthcare reform law that even the president now affectionately refers to as Obamacare.

The Republican-controlled House has voted more than 30 times to repeal all or parts of the law since it was passed. But many GOP members, especially freshmen, were pushing the leadership to get a vote on the record in 2013, reports Politico.

According to Politico, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor of Virginia on Wednesday tweeted, "It just keeps getting worse. I am scheduling a vote for next week on the full repeal of #Obamacare."

Some conservatives have been pushing the GOP leadership to take a more aggressive stand against Obamacare before Jan. 1 of next year, when the law is scheduled to be fully implemented. They hope to capitalize, Politico noted, on what even some Democrats predict could be a rocky rollout for Obamacare in advance of the 2014 midterm elections.

Head  Clown Obuma will speak Friday about the Affordable Care Act's effects "on the health, lives and pocketbooks of women and their families," the White House said in his schedule.

This is timed to coincide with Mother's Day, which is on Sunday, the event also comes as House Republicans plan to vote next week on a bill to repeal the health care law.

The audience for the 2:40 p.m. event will include many loonies from women's groups, including "Abortionist Planned Parenthood."  The event comes as some Demo-rats have voiced concerns that the implementation will be messy and problematic, a notion that Obuma has challenged. "I think that any time you're implementing something big, there's going to be people who are nervous and anxious about is it going to get done, until it's actually done," the Clown told reporters last week. "We've got a great team of Clowns in place.  We are peddeling very hard to make sure that we're hitting all the deadlines and the benchmarks."

Daughter of Cleveland abduction suspect slashed her baby's throat

(Reuters) - The daughter of Ariel Castro, the chief suspect in the Cleveland abduction of three women freed on Monday, is serving time in an Indiana prison for attempted murder after she slashed her baby's throat four times with a knife, court documents show.

Emily Castro, 25, was sentenced to 25 years and is at the Rockville, Indiana, Correctional Facility. She was found guilty in Allen County Superior Court of attempting to murder her 11-month-old daughter, according to a decision by the Court of Appeals of Indiana on November 5, 2008.

The current whereabouts of Emily Castro's child, who would be aged around seven now, could not immediately be determined.

Emily Castro slashed her daughter's throat four times with a knife on April 4, 2007 the day after the baby's father moved out of their Fort Wayne home, according to a court of appeals document.

Police found Emily Castro covered in mud, water and blood after responding to the 911 call from Castro's mother, Grimilda Figueroa, the court said. Figueroa, who died last year, was married to Ariel Castro, who was arrested on Monday in Cleveland on suspicion of abducting three women and holding them captive for around a decade. The three were freed on Monday along with a six-year-old girl thought to have been born in captivity.

Emily Castro, who was 19 at the time of the attack on the baby, had a self-inflicted knife wound to her neck and wrists and tried to drown herself in a nearby creek, according to the court.

Emily Castro tried to rely on an insanity defense but was found competent to stand trial. She was found guilty but mentally ill on January 17, 2008, court records show.

The appeals court said Castro was diagnosed for manic depression when she was 13 years old. She had a history of quitting and refusing medications and treatments for her mental illness, the court noted.

Emily Castro appealed on the grounds that the state did not comply with competency hearing and sanity evaluation requirements and that her sentence was an abuse of discretion. The appeals court ruled against her on November 5, 2008.

Attorneys who defended Castro in both the initial trial and her appeal were not available for comment Wednesday.

10 crazy things the IRS asked Tea Party groups

The Internal Revenue Service admitted Friday...

... to improperly targeting conservative groups for aggressive applications processes for tax exempt status in 2012, using the terms "Tea Party" and "patriot" as flags.

Here are some of the things they wanted to know about those groups:

1. We're gonna need all your direct and indirect communication. "'Direct and indirect communications' is profoundly chilling of First Amendment rights, " said David French, senior counsel for American Center for Law & Justice, which has been representing 27 conservative organizations met with IRS inquisitions. "It's so vague as to be impossible to comply with."

IRS:

2. What do we need to know about your members? Nothing much. Just ALL THE THINGS!

Kirsten Powers: There is Something "Fundamentally Really, Really Wrong With Our Media".... Both ABC and CBS Presidents Have Siblings That Work For Obama

The Fox News Watch panel weighs in on how the media covered the Benghazi hearing.  Many excellent points were made.  Around the 4 minute marker, Kirsten Powers makes some powerful points.  She finds the idea that everything out of Washington is political, so the "politicizing" excuse is quite odd.  Agreed.

Richard Grenell follows with a report on how both the ABC and CBS presidents have SIBLINGS that work for Obama at the White House.  And the discussion also points to the fact that Sharyl Attkisson has been shunned at CBS for covering Benghazi more accurately.  The Daily Caller also noted the CBS sibling connections to Obama and the Sharyl Attkisson tensions, along with a Politico article that provides more information on the developing Attkisson tensions but fails to mention the conflict of interests as a backdrop.

"With all respect, the fact is we have four dead Americans was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they'd go kill some Americans," Clinton shouted. "What difference at this point does it make?

Top Obama official's brother is president of CBS News,
may drop reporter over Benghazi coverage

The brother of a top Obama administration official is also the president of CBS News, and the network may be days away from dropping one of its top investigative reporters for covering the administration's scandals too aggressively.

CBS News executives have reportedly expressed frustration with their own reporter, Sharyl Attkisson, who has steadily covered the Obama administration's handling of the Benghazi terrorist attack in Libya since late last year.

"Network sources" told Politico Wednesday that CBS executives feel Attkisson's Benghazi coverage is bordering on advocacy, and Attkisson "can't get some of her stories on the air."
