No Indictment In Eric Garner Case

    (Huff&Puff Post) – A grand jury voted Wednesday not to indict New York City police officer Daniel Pantaleo in the death of Eric Garner, multiple sources confirm.

    Pantaleo put 47-year-old Garner into a chokehold during an arrest for selling untaxed cigarettes on July 17. In a viral video of the arrest, Garner can be seen screaming "I can't breathe!" multiple times until his body goes limp. A medical examiner later ruled his death a homicide.

    Chokeholds are banned by NYPD guidelines, and Garner's death prompted large protests across the city.

    The grand jury's decision Wednedsay comes just over a week after a grand jury in Ferguson, Missouri declined to indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown.

    During his remarks about the grand jury decision not to indict the officer who killed Eric Garner with a chokehold, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio revealed that Attorney General Eric Holder and his nominated replacement Loretta Lynch (who also happens to be the U.S. Attorney for the district in which the incident occurred) will pursue a federal investigation into this case.

    "The federal government is clearly engaged and poised to act," Mayor de Blasio said in his press conference. He said that before he met with leaders on Staten Island, he received a phone call from Holder and Lynch. "They made clear that the investigation initiated by the U.S. attorney would now move forward, that it would be done expeditiously. It would be done with a clear sense of independence and that it would be a thorough investigation."

(I'm sure Holder's investigation will be bias-free.
Ferguson Protests = Reichstag Fire - Both, massive propaganda campaigns designed with only one goal in mind--that is to advance a political agenda. And, both were initiated and enabled by the highest person (Adolph Hitler was Chancellor) within the government itself.

    Michael Sam believes he's not on a NFL roster because of the fact he's openly gay — telling TMZ Sports he strongly believes he's got the talent to play in the league.

    Sam was at LAX this morning when he was asked if he thinks NFL teams are shying away from him because of his sexual orientation ... or if it has to do with the level of talent he faced after college.

    "I think I was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year last year ... so I don't think it had to do with talent."
