UNREAL:
U.S. Army Classifies Christian Ministry As A
"Domestic Hate Group"

(WTF)

Via Fox News:
http://foxnewsinsider.com/2013/10/14/exclusive-us-army-defines-christian-ministry-domestic-hate-group

Several dozen U.S. Army active duty and reserve troops were told last week that the American Family Association, a well-respected Christian ministry, should be classified as a domestic hate group because the group advocates for traditional family values.

The briefing was held at Camp Shelby in Mississippi and listed the AFA alongside domestic hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Nazis, the Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam.

A soldier who attended the briefing contacted me and sent me a photograph of a slide show presentation that listed AFA as a domestic hate group. Under the AFA headline is a photograph of Westboro Baptist Church preacher Fred Phelps holding a sign reading "No special law for f***."

American Family Association has absolutely no affiliation with the controversial church group known for picketing the funerals of American service members.

"I had to show Americans what our soldiers are now being taught," said the soldier who asked not to be identified. "I couldn't just let this one pass."

The soldier said a chaplain interrupted the briefing and challenged the instructor's assertion that AFA is a hate group.

"The instructor said AFA could be considered a hate group because they don't like gays," the soldier told me. "The slide was talking about how AFA refers to gays as sinners and heathens and derogatory terms."

The soldier, who is an evangelical Christian, said the chaplain defended the Christian ministry.

"He kept asking the instructor, 'Are you sure about that, son? Are you sure about that?'" he said, recalling the back and forth.

Obama Administration Shuts Down Catholic Services on US Navy Base; Locks Church Doors

The church was also locked down.

TMLC Files Federal Lawsuit

The Thomas More Law Center reported:
http://www.thomasmore.org/news/government-shuts-down-catholic-services-navy-base-church-locked-priest-threatened-arrest-tmlc-f

In the wake of the government shutdown, despite provisions in the Pay Our Military Act, Catholics at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base in Georgia are being denied religious services. The Catholic priest who serves this community has been prohibited from even volunteering to celebrate Holy Mass without pay, and was told that if he violated that order, he could be subject to arrest. Protestant services continue to take place. Only Catholic services have been shutdown.

This is an astonishing attack on religious freedom by the federal government, and the latest affront towards the military since the beginning of the shutdown.

As a result, the Thomas More Law Center (TMLC), a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, MI, today, filed a federal lawsuit in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Father Ray Leonard, a Catholic priest contracted to serve as base chaplain and Fred Naylor, one of Father Leonard's parishioners and a retired veteran with over 22 years of service. Fr. Leonard is a civilian Catholic Pastor contracted by the Department of Defense (DoD) to serve as a military chaplain at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base in Georgia.

Fr. Leonard, who served Tibetan populations in China for 10 years, informed the court in an affidavit, "In China, I was disallowed from performing public religious services due to the lack of religious freedom in China. I never imagined that when I returned home to the United States, that I would be forbidden from practicing my religious beliefs as I am called to do, and would be forbidden from helping and serving my faith community."

Liar-in-chief Obuma: "Republicans Are Going To Stop Calling It 'Obumacare'"
When People Realize How Awesome :P It Works

(Yeah, it's safe to assume that will never happen)

Via Washington Times:

President Obama has embraced "Obamacare" as the de facto name of his signature health care initiative.

But he believes that if the law ends up being a wild success, the moniker will disappear.

"My suspicion is what is going to happen is when it's working and everybody is really happy with it, Republicans are going to stop calling it 'Obamacare,'" the said Tuesday in an interview with New York's WABC TV station.

Key parts of the law — formally known as the Affordable Care Act — went into effect at the beginning of the month, but the roll-out has been marked by problems, most notably major glitches with the website healthcare.gov.

(Does anyone really believe
Obumacare won't turn into another bloated entitlement program we can't afford?

Obama Breaks His Own Signature Law

by Tom Wise
http://freedomoutpost.com/2013/10/obama-breaks-signature-law/

Every day I get more upset about our groovy, hippie, antichrist president. You know, it's against the law for someone to break the law. It's called aiding and abetting when someone helps someone break the law. Obama giving waivers to Obamacare is not within his authority. In fact, Congress offering to give waivers is also not in their authority. So, Obama has committed a criminal act.

However, instead of impeaching (never mind Syria or Benghazi yet), they play games trying to entice him to break the law again by giving waivers to everyone. He knows he broke the law. He also knows they don't have the votes to impeach (how corrupt everything is), but he also can't revoke the waivers because that is an admission of guilt.

Democrats are in league, because there is not one who shouts out, never minds accuses. The only ones who even say 'boo' are the conservatives. But even here, there is not much outcry against him breaking the law.

The reason why they wanted Obama to delay implementation is the statutory deadline. If it lapsed, law nullified.

We never heard that argument except from one Betsy McCaughey... http://betsymccaughey.com/

So Obamacare is not the same as the law passed. And the law upheld by by the Supreme Court is not the same as the law passed (they passed a fine, Roberts upheld a tax).
http://therightscoop.com/betsy-mccaughey-to-mark-levin-what-the-president-is-imposing-on-us-today-is-not-the-affordable-care-act/

And the law passed is illegal because it originated in the Senate, not the House (it's a tax, according to the Supreme Court).
http://freedomoutpost.com/2013/10/americans-will-soon-standing-destroy-obamacare/

That doesn't even take into account that the law is onerous, punitive, arbitrary, and not what was promised. That doesn't even take into account that people believe the ACA provided free healthcare. It doesn't. It provided access... Very expensive access. Insurance for preexisting conditions costs money. All the ACA did was force insurance companies to accept these people. Now the people are forced to accept a plan or else pay an ever-increasing fine. A very expensive plan or a fine. Enforced through the IRS. Not voluntary, not free, not even good.

Not only that, but the exchange "system" proposed does not work. The computer code for the federal website is so fouled up that experts believe it was put together on a whim, if not intentionally so. It will take years to rewrite the code. It would be better to start from scratch, if one even had such inclination, which one should not. However, just because the website doesn't work doesn't mean the NSA isn't counting keystrokes and taking all your information. While application is an epic fail for users, the spying continues. All information, it says on the website, may be shared with law enforcement. No more HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Your history as enemy of the state is now volunteered by you, under coercion and threat of fine or jail.

This is where we're at.  President Nutcase keeps breaking the law, the Democrats keep aiding and abetting, and the Republicans seem like they don't want to call a crime a crime.  Only the Tea Party has enough radicalism and guts to call out anything at all.

Meanwhile, amnesty is coming, civil war, more debt, more foreign intervention, more corruption, more cartel violence, no justice on Benghazi, no investigations on Fast and Furious, and no investigation into where the money went. Did it go to the foreign banks or the IMF, or both?

We are ruled by a megalomaniac and the Chicago Mafia.

House Republicans Schedule Obama Impeachment Hearings
Oct 14, 2013
GOP Leaders Cite Inability to Halt Government Shutdown

Republicans in the House of Representatives have scheduled impeachment proceedings against President Obama, claiming his inability to halt the federal government shutdown makes him unfit for office.

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann introduced a resolution to impeach Obama this morning and referred the matter to the House Judiciary Committee. Senior aides close to judiciary chairman Bob Goodlatte say hearings will begin Thursday.

"I think it's high time President Obama be held accountable for his crimes," explains Bachmann. "For two weeks now, vital government services have been disrupted, federal workers have gone without pay and national memorials have been closed, all because of the president's refusal to negotiate over Obamacare.

"This isn't just poor leadership. The Obama administration is corrupt to the core. The scandals surrounding the IRS, Benghazi, the Fast and the Furious (sic) and Solyndra have shown us this cabal will do anything to stay in power.

"But in shutting down the government President Obama has committed economic treason against the United States of America, and he must be removed before it's too late. The Constitution provides us the mechanism of impeachment. It's time to end this dictatorial regime and return the presidency back to the American people."

Sour Tea
The U.S. federal government shut down on Oct. 1 after House Republicans refused to fund it unless President Obama agreed to repeal his signature health care reform, the Affordable Care Act, popularly known as Obamacare.

Although most polls show that a majority of Americans blame Republicans for the shutdown, many in the Tea Party feel President Obama is at fault  for not immediately acquiescing to their demands.

"The tipping point for me was closing the World War II memorial," says Texas Republican Louie Gohmert, who voted for the bill which effectively shut down the government. "I can't believe Obama did that. I mean how dare he put politics ahead of our veterans.

"All this clown needs to do is repeal the most important law he ever passed, and then this will all be over. Why is that so hard? The Tea Party represents almost 22 percent of Americans. Only a dictator would refuse to give us everything we want. Obama should be more than impeached -- he should be in jail."

Hearings in the judiciary committee are expected to last for two weeks, after which the committee will create specific impeachment charges and refer them to the full House. If a majority of House members vote to impeach the President, the matter is referred to the Senate, where he will face trial. The Senate's Democratic majority makes ultimate success unlikely.

"We probably won't be successful," admits Ted Cruz, one of the few Republicans in the Senate supporting the impeachment process. "But we have to try. This guy is worse than Hitler. We have to do something."

Kentucky Kickback:
Senate Budget Deal Includes $3 Billion For Dam Project In McConnell's Home State

(He sold us out for a friggen dam)

Via WFPL:
http://wfpl.org/post/mcconnell-reid-deal-includes-3-billion-earmark-kentucky-project#.Ul87cBKBuQs.twitter

A proposal to end the government shutdown and avoid default orchestrated by Republican Leader Mitch McConnell and Democratic Leader Harry Reid includes a nearly $3 billion earmark for a Kentucky project.

Language in a draft of the McConnell-Reid deal (see page 13, section 123) provided to WFPL News shows a provision that increases funding for the massive Olmsted Dam Lock in Paducah, Ky., from $775 million to nearly $2.9 billion.

The dam is considered an important project for the state and region in regards to water traffic along the Ohio River.

As The Courier-Journal's James Bruggers reported in 2011, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said they needed about $2.1 billion for the locks due to "stop and go funding."

Nixon presidential library hosts reunion for 200 Vietnam
POWs 40 years after their release

Fox News - YORBA LINDA, Calif. – Two hundred American former prisoners of war who were taken captive during the Vietnam War are arriving in Southern California to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their release.

The three-day gala starts Thursday at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library & Museum in Yorba Linda. It will include a military flyover, wreath-laying ceremony and tours of a special exhibit on the prisoners' return home.

The reunion runs through Saturday and marks the 40th anniversary of a special White House dinner hosted by President Nixon on May 23, 1973, to honor the 571 American captives.

Nixon resigned a year later in the face of impeachment over Watergate, but many of the former POWs regard him as a hero for securing their freedom.

Obuma's Liberal Hometown Paper Pens Scathing Editorial Ripping Obamacare,
Calls For One-Year Delay of Individual Mandate

"And Shepherds we shall be
For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

If you've tried to sign up online for health coverage under the problem-plagued Obamacare exchange, our sympathies. Many people have tried to create accounts and shop for insurance under the new law. Few have succeeded. Those that have enrolled have found that the system is prone to mistakes. Some applications have been sent to the wrong insurance company.

Wait. It gets worse. Those who have managed to browse the marketplace have often been hit by sticker shock. Take Adam Weldzius, a nurse practitioner and single father from Carpentersville. He sought the same level of coverage on the exchange as he and his 7-year-old daughter have now, with the same insurer and the same network of doctors and hospitals. At best, Weldzius found, his monthly premium of $233 would more than double. If he chose a plan priced at the same level, the annual deductible would be $12,700, more than three times his current $3,500 deductible.

"I believe everybody should be able to have health insurance, but at the same time, I'm being penalized. And for what?" Weldzius told the Tribune's Peter Frost. "For someone who's always had insurance, who's always taken care of myself, now I have to change my plan?"

Last spring, President Barack Obama said "there will still be, you know, glitches and bumps" in the rollout of the new system. But what we're seeing now is no glitch or bump. There is a growing mountain of evidence that Obamacare has fundamental problems in design and implementation. [...]

The administration can do one thing — apparently on its own — to spare many Americans. It can delay the requirement that everyone buy insurance by March 31 or pay a penalty. Federal officials already have granted a one-year reprieve to the mandate that most employers provide insurance to their workers or pay a penalty. The administration cut a sweet deal for Congress and its staffers, who will continue to get generous federal subsidies. It has allowed any number of carve-outs for special pleaders.

A delay in the individual mandate would not be a special favor to American consumers. It's a matter of fairness.

A one-year hiatus would give everyone a chance to take a hard look at the pricing of these plans, to see if consumers could get more affordable options without sacrificing coverage.

There are more problems. People who have individual insurance coverage are finding that Obama's oft-repeated promise — "if you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan" — is just not true. They are being told by insurers that their existing plans expire on Dec. 31 and they must choose new coverage. They're learning that insurers managed to offer lower-cost plans by narrowing the networks of hospitals and doctors that are available or by upping the out-of-pocket expenses. Unless people are careful in selecting coverage, they may be surprised to find they have to pay much more for out-of-network care to go to their doctors or get treated at the best hospitals. Federal officials argue that they'll work out the kinks in the system in plenty of time for people to sign up by Dec. 15 for coverage that begins Jan. 1. Yes, the techies might be able to work out the computer network problems by then. But that's not a given.

There Is No Debt Ceiling Now

Nancy Pelosi (above) appears to be excited.

(The "less than $17 Trillion" Debt Clock we've been seeing for 150 days, will very soon be changed to reflect what has really been going on.  We'll be at $18 trillion in 3 months.  Our credit rating will drop, interest rates will rise, and the USA will go broke from all this debt Obama has racked up.  That's been his plan all along)

There's no actual debt ceiling right now.
The fiscal deal passed by Congress on Wednesday evening to re-open the government and get around the $16.4 trillion limit on borrowing doesn't actually increase the debt limit. It just temporarily suspends enforcement of it.

That means Americans have no idea how much debt their government is going to rack up between now and February 7, when the limits are supposed to go back into place and will have to be raised.

There is no dollar amount set for how much debt the government can accumulate between now and then. The suspension strategy was employed first earlier this year during previous fiscal battles in Congress.
