Parents arrested for driving drunk with children locked in trunk

April Burgo, 32, and Richard Burgo, 29, were traveling in San Bernardino, Calif., when sheriff's deputies pulled them over and found a crying 6-year-old and 8-year-old in the trunk.

California parents were busted drunk driving with their two children locked in the trunk, police said.

Sheriff's deputies pulled over the car in which April Burgo, 32, and Richard Burgo, 29, were traveling in San Bernardino on Sunday evening.

Worried witnesses had reported seeing a child in the trunk of their black Cadillac at the drive-thru of a Bakers Restaurant.

Deputies believed the pair — and passenger 33-year-old Brandon Rampani — were all drunk.

They asked April Burgo, who was driving at the time, to open the trunk.

She hesitated, before releasing the clip to reveal her 6-year-old boy and 8-year-old girl crying inside.

The trio was arrested on suspicion of cruelty to a child. They have since posted bail, reports NBC Los Angeles.

The children, who were uninjured, are now in the care of a relative.

The Other Benghazi Scandal:
Journalists Worry Covering The Attack Threatens White House Access

As the one year anniversary of the deadly attack on an American consulate in Benghazi approaches, journalists have begun to take another look into the scandal surrounding the government's response to that terrorist event. Last week, CNN aired two striking reports revealing that the Central Intelligence Agency had a large number of agents on the ground on the night of the attack and that a suspect in the attack has never been interviewed by investigators. Following these revelatory reports, which some in President Barack Obama's administration believe represent a political threat, some CNN reporters now fear for their access to the White House. They are not alone.


On July 31, CNN's The Situation Room broadcast a portion of an interview conducted by reporter Arwa Damon with a suspect in the Benghazi attacks. The suspect revealed to Damon that no investigator has attempted to contact him regarding his involvement in that deadly assault. The following day, CNN's Drew Griffin broke the news that more than 30 CIA agents were on the ground in Libya on the day of the attack and they are being pressured by the spy agency to not reveal to reporters or congressional investigators what they know of the events of that night. Some CNN reporters are reportedly fearful now that their access to the White House will be hampered following their probing into a story that members of the Obama administration would prefer remain uninvestigated.

"Access is a very serious consideration when it comes to stories that could adversely impact a show, correspondent, or network's relationship with the administration, a campaign, or any political leader," one source with insider information told Mediaite.

"I would suggest it's not an accident that those who have been given a lot of access to the president have generally been AWOL when it comes to stories that might reflect poorly on him," the source, who did not wish to be identified, continued. "It's the name of the game. And it's bad for everyone trying to do this job the right way." Those reporters have reason to fear for their access to America's executive branch. Some suspect that reporters who soft-pedal or underreport stories uncomfortable to the administration receive preferential access to White House officials.

On September 12, 2012, less than 24-hours after the attack on the American consulate, President Obama sat down with CBS News reporter Steve Kroft for an in-depth interview on 60 Minutes. A critical portion of that interview, however, was omitted from broadcast only to be released online the Friday before the election. In that unaired portion of the interview, the president appeared to hedge about whether to declare that attack an act of terrorism.

CBS's decision to hold this portion of the interview became a focus of speculation because, during an explosive presidential debate against Mitt Romney, Obama declared with much more force that he had always regarded the Benghazi attack as a terrorist event.

Some believe it was no coincidence that the president chose 60 Minutes to sit down with outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for an exit interview in January – one of several that she gave to every network news operation.

Unlike in the exit interviews on the other networks, the 60 Minutes interview's focus on Benghazi – coming just days after Clinton testified before Congress about her department's actions leading up to and following the attack – was decidedly limited.

"I want to talk about the hearings this week," Kroft began.

"You had a very long day. Also, how is your health?" He digressed.

"As the New York Times put it, you accepted responsibility, but not blame," Kroft asked in a follow up to the above grilling. "Do you feel guilty in any way, in– at a personal level? Do you blame yourself that you didn't know or that you should have known?"

Both Clinton's and the president's response to this question was clinical, lawyerly, and retrospective. Of course, they were able to take this tone because the nature of the question implied that the Benghazi story was a closed book. Today, though, the persistent uncovering of new details relating to the federal response to that attack shows definitively that the Benghazi story is not yet fully understood.

CBS' 60 Minutes is not the only venue which is protective of their access to the administration. Reporting by ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl in May surrounding how the administration formed the talking points relating to the terrorist event in Benghazi prompted a flurry of reporting and commentary which suggested that the White House was fending off unwarranted attacks from their political opponents.

Just days prior to Karl's revelations, NBC News was granted a rare tour of the White House Situation Room as part of a retrospective report reflecting on the two year anniversary of the killing of Osama bin Laden.

In the days that followed Karl's revelations, NBC News' most visible personalities were far more hands-off than they had been in the days that initially followed that deadly attack.

"The whole issue of talking point, frankly, throughout this process, has been a sideshow," Obama pointedly said of Karl's story unveiling how the talking points were formed. "We dishonor [the fallen] when we, you know, we turn things like this into a political circus."

Appearing on Nightly News, the NBC News' Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd reacted to Obama's prickly statement by twice calling the president's response to those revelations a "defiant" showing. NBC News' Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent, Andrea Mitchell, observed that there is no doubt a "political undercurrent" to Republicans questioning Clinton's culpability in those attacks. "After all, those Republicans are taking direct aim at Clinton, the country's most popular Democrat and a potential presidential candidate," she said of the revelations surrounding the talking points on NBC's Today.

"If you worry about access, you're in the wrong business," another insider with detailed information about how journalists and news networks react to reporting about Benghazi told Mediaite. "This shouldn't be a consideration at all, but it is."

This source, who also declined to be identified, said that the institution of journalism would be better served if reporters were less protective of their sources within powerful institutions. "If we all raised proper objections, they couldn't do it to anybody," the source said of the White House's efforts to block access to reporters who pursue stories they regard as inconvenient. "We're really playing the government's game."

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is on top of yet another poll today. But it's not the result her team was hoping for.

In a new Rasmussen Reports poll, Clinton tops five others as the one candidate voters don't want to win in 2016.

"Regardless of whom you would vote for, which candidate would you least like to see win the Democratic nomination in 2016? Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Martin O'Malley, Andrew Cuomo, Antonio Villaraigosa or Cory Booker?" Rasmussen asked.

The results: Clinton 27 percent, Biden 24 percent. The rest were in the 15 percent to 17 percent, reported Rasmussen. Women are more enthusiastic supporters of Clinton than men are. Men are more likely to hope she doesn't get the Democratic nomination.

ABC, CBS and NBC Overlook Obuma's Gaffe-tastic Performance on Leno

Barack Obama delivered one gaffe after another in his August 6 interview with Jay Leno, but the networks that usually mock every mistake or slip of the tongue made by Republicans ignored the President's verbal mishaps.

ABC's Good Morning America, CBS's This Morning and NBC's Today show, on Wednesday morning, all bypassed the chance to criticize Obama for: downplaying the threat of terrorism; falsely claiming Vladimir Putin once ran the KGB; placing the Atlantic coast cities of Savannah, Charleston and Jacksonville on the Gulf of Mexico; confusing the Winter Olympics with the Summer Olympics.


First up, on the August 6 edition of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Obama responded to the talk show host's question about the terrorist attacks in Benghazi, this way: "The odds of people dying in a terrorist attack obviously are still a lot lower than in a car accident, unfortunately." (It should be noted that Good Morning America did run this soundbite, but they let it go by without comment.)

JAY LENO: What do you say to those cynics who go, oh, this is an overreaction to Benghazi — how do you respond to that?

BARACK OBAMA: One thing I've tried to do as President is not over react, but make sure that as much as possible the American people understand that there are genuine risks out there.  What's great about what we've seen with America over the last several years is how resilient we are. So after the Boston bombing, for example, the next day folks were out there, they're going to ball games. They are making sure that we're not reacting in a way that somehow shuts us down.

And that's the right reaction. Terrorists depend on the idea that we're going to be terrorized.  And we're going to live our lives. And the odds of people dying in a terrorist attack obviously are still a lot lower than in a car accident, unfortunately. But there are things that we can do to make sure that we're keeping the pressure on these networks that would try to injure Americans. And the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about when I go to bed is making sure that I'm doing everything I can to keep Americans safe.

Later on the leader of the free world mistakenly claimed Russian President Vladimir Putin once "headed up the KGB."  According to this January 30, 2000 Washington Post article  Putin "spent 17 years as a mid-level agent in the Soviet KGB's foreign intelligence wing, rising only to the rank of lieutenant colonel."
JAY LENO: And Putin seems to me like one of those old-school KGB guys.

BARACK OBAMA: Well, he headed up the KGB.


During the Russia portion of the interview, the President also mixed up the Winter Olympics with the Summer Olympics.

OBAMA: I think Putin and Russia have a big stake in making sure the Olympics work, and I think they understand that for most of the countries that participate in the Olympics, we wouldn't tolerate gays and lesbians being treated differently.  They're athletes, they're there to compete. And if Russia wants to uphold the Olympic spirit, then every judgment should be made on the track, or in the swimming pool, or on the balance beam, and people's sexual orientation shouldn't have anything to do with it.

The track and field events, swimming competitions and gymnastics all take place during the summer games. Sochi, Russia is the site of the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Finally, during a discussion on the need to improve the nation's infrastructure, Obama made a big geographical goof, as seen in the following exchange:
JAY LENO:  You mentioned infrastructure.  Why is that a partisan issue?  I live in a town, the bridge is falling apart, it's not safe.  How does that become Republican or Democrat?  How do you not just fix the bridge?

BARACK OBAMA: I don't know. As you know, for the last three years, I've said, let's work together. Let's find a financing mechanism and let's go ahead and fix our bridges, fix our roads, sewer systems, our ports. You know the Panama Canal is being widened so that these big supertankers can come in. Now, that will be finished in 2015. If we don't deepen our ports all along the Gulf — places like Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida — if we don't do that, those ships are going to go someplace else. And we'll lose jobs.  Businesses won't locate here.

Another brilliant move by race-baiter Barack Obuma!  He recently passed an executive order that will force public schools to ignore poor behavior by black children.

Obuma wants to redistribute disciplinary action along racial lines.

In many major cities, black academic performance has actually gotten worse since Obama took office. We have also seen the dramatic nationwide rise of black teen mob violence under the Obama administration.

On July 26th Obama signed an executive order titled the "African American Education Initiative." The order essentially gives a green light for black students to misbehave in public schools. In two places, Obama's executive order calls on schools to reduce the number disciplinary actions taken against blacks students. The order specifically calls on schools too "not rely on methods that result in disparate use of disciplinary tools."

To comply,  public schools would have to engage in a racial quota system of discipline. The executive order will create a new Federal bureaucracy to pressure school systems to comply with the president's demands. The executive order makes no mention of any effort to get black students to improve behavior.

There is a reason why blacks are more likely to be disciplined in school. Black students are more likely to misbehave. The U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Statistics reports that there is a huge crime rate disparity between blacks and other racial groups.

(WTF... this is RACISM tried and true by a POS racist community organizer.  Inner cities have always been training grounds for urban warfare.  I believe that is one of the reasons that these Demo-rat strongholds allow shootings to continue unabated.  Gun control was meant to take the ability of white people to defend themselves while little effort was made to remove illegal guns from the street.  Now they want us to allow young black children to grow up undisciplined and uneducated, their experiences of their young lives full of violence.  This suggestion alone is enough to know that the POS Obuma is preparing and encouraging the black race for a race war)

•Blacks are seven times more likely than people of other races to commit murder, and eight times more likely to commit robbery.

•Hispanics commit violent crimes at roughly three times the white rate, and Asians commit violent crimes at about one quarter the white rate.
•The single best indicator of violent crime levels in an area is the percentage of the population that is black and Hispanic.

Interracial Crime
•Of the nearly 770,000 violent interracial crimes committed every year involving blacks and whites, blacks commit 85 percent and whites commit 15 percent.

Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham did their best to prop up the Muslim Brotherhood and attack political leaders during their short visit to Cairo. In response, military leaders lashed out at McCain for interfering with the country's internal conflict.

McCain and Graham also said the country was near "all-out bloodshed."

The two US senators exacerbated anti-US feelings in the country.

Egypt's military-backed government on Tuesday harshly rejected statements by visiting U.S. Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham, who called the military's month-old takeover of power as a "coup."

McCain (R-Ariz.) and Graham (R-S.C.) had used the word "coup" at an afternoon press conference to describe the manner in which Egypt's military had seized power from the Muslim Brotherhood's elected president, Mohamed Morsi, in early July.

"We have said we share the democratic aspirations and criticism of the Morsi government that led millions of Egyptians into the streets," McCain said. "We've also said that the circumstances of [Morsi's] removal was a coup"

A spokesman for the interim government, Sherief Shawki, immediately dismissed the characterization. "There is a roadmap, which means that what happened was not a coup and that it was Egyptian people who decided on the roadmap," he told Reuters in an interview. Shawki also said the involvement of McCain and Graham was unwelcome, adding, "We don't want foreign intervention to be imposed on us."

In a statement later on Tuesday, distributed by Egypt's Middle East News Agency and reported by Al Jazeera's Rawya Rageh, a top media advisor to Egypt's interim president, Adly Mansour, offered a stronger rebuke. The statement accused McCain of twisting facts, and dismissed his remarks as "clumsy," or "irresponsible," depending on the translation. (On Twitter, bilingual Arabic speakers debated the best translation for the word, "kharqa," which also could be interpreted as "moronic" or "irrational.")

Dr. Orly Taitz has been pushing the Barack Obama eligibility issue for some time now. She has sought to go specifically through the court system and back in February she attempted to press the Supreme Court to move to oral arguments on Obama's eligibility to hold the office of president of the United States. She is also one that questions the motives of Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Mike Zullo in their investigation. In June she presented additional information to the Superior Court of California in the Fourth District Court of Appeals additional information in the case of Taitz v. Obama, Feinstein, Emken (The case number is G047746 and the Superior Court case number is 30-2012-00582135), in which she is seeking to have Barack Obama produce his registration record at Occidental College.

According to a press release from Orly Taitz:

A whistle-blower from Higher Education Services Corporation in Albany New York came forward and advised Attorney Orly Taitz that she personally reviewed Barack Obama's financial aid information, which stated that financial aid was given to Obama as foreign student and as a citizen of Indonesia.

In the original case there were over 100 pages that documented that Barack Obama was a citizen of Indonesia at the time he attended Occidental and that he has used fraudulent means to secure Identification.

However, Superior Court Judge Charles Marginis ruled in favor of Occidental College and denied Taitz's motion to force them to produce Obama's college registration forms.

Kathleen O'Leary, the Chief Judge of the Fourth District Court of Appeals, then re-instated the appeal.

In Taitz's press release she writes, "Additionally, Obama failed to submit the Appellee's brief in Taitz v Obama, Feinstein, Emken. This is an appeal, which was reinstated by the Chief Judge of the Fourth District Court of Appeal Kathleen O'Leary. Appellant Taitz filed her Appellant's brief."

"Appellees failed to file an Appellees' brief," the press release continued. "They were given additional 15 days and they failed again. Attorney Taitz submitted a notice of failure by Appellees to file an Appellee's brief and provided the court with this additional information, as part of the appeal revolves around the decision by the Superior Court judge Charles Marginis to rule in favor of the Occidental college and deny a motion to compel production of a redacted   college registration for Obama in light of over a 100 pages of records showing Obama to be a citizen of Indonesia using forged and fraudulently obtained IDs."

As a result, Taitz submitted the new information to the Superior Court claiming "Whistleblower wrote for Taitz in her own handwriting her first and last name, her work e-mail address, her personal e-mail address and her home and cell phone numbers."

"Taitz did her due diligence and independently verified that the whistleblower is indeed employed by the Higher Education Services Corporation in Albany, New York" Taitz's submittal read. "She further checked that Obama transferred from the Occidental college to Columbia University in New York and his financial aid would indeed be handled by the Higher Education Services Corporation in Albany, New York (Hereinafter HESC). Whistleblower advised Taitz that the policy of the HESC is no to destroy records and microfilm is contained in the safe of the corporation. She further advised Taitz that several employees of the HESC made copies of the microfilm, in case the management decides to destroy the evidence. She came forward, as she is concerned about fraud being committed and the fact that as a citizen of Indonesia Obama was not eligible to be the president of the United States."

Ms. Taitz say that the information provided should weigh in her favor in granting an appeal. Moreover, if further evidence confirms this information and attorney for Occidental college knew that Obama's registration, application and financial aid show him registered as a foreign student and a citizen of Indonesia, then they would have knowingly been committing treason against the people of the United States of America and were aiding and abetting the most egregious fraud in the history of the US.

I wonder why those who have made copies of the microfilm have not simply pitched it into the hands of someone like Taitz. In either case, I'm sure the Obama administration has put its NSA ears to the ground around HESC now and employees can rest assured they are being monitored.

Barack Obama has spent millions of dollars to keep his records from the public eye? Why? Isn't he the man that said, "The only people that don't want to disclose the truth, are people with something to hide?" Again, how hard is it for Obama to simply produce the documentation, not a forged digital image on the web, and put to rest the allegations? If I were in the position, that's exactly what I would do and demonstrate the foolishness of the claim, but when someone goes to great expense and lengths to keep information hidden, it only lends credibility to the charges leveled against him, especially in light of his past and his time in office.

How many skeletons are in the White House closets? The blood keeps seeping through the cracks as the "silent murders" happen. Why are these innocent individuals targeted and have their lives cut short due to greed?

LIA SOETORO - Barry's older adopted sister in Indonesia. In 2010, she surfaced before a scheduled Obama trip to Indonesia. She gave interviews, talked about their childhood, and said she had some belongings that were Barry's when he was young. All of a sudden she got sick and died. The trip was cancelled.

SARAH BERKLEY – Author of "The Jihad at the Ballot Box" – a book examining Obama's relationship with radical Islam. Died in a mysterious car crash in 2003.

RUSSELL MCDOUGAL – Former FBI operative, January 23rd, 2007. McDougal was known to hold sensitive information about meetings Barack Obama had with arms smugglers. His wife was murdered March 2006 after he went public with his initial reports. His father died July 8, 2006 four hours after McDougal presented his findings on the Savage Nation. Suffered administrative retaliation after reporting discussions by jihadist groups concerning Obama to his superiors.

RODRIGO VILLALOPEZ - a television news camera man who shot the footage of Obama describing small town voters as "bitter" and "clinging to their guns during the primary season.

BRIAN GORING – A defense attorney for Obama patron Antoin Rezko during his trial for extortion and bribery. Died of apparent "natural causes."

MERCEDES HUGLEY, one of Obama's many white, female conquests while at Harvard. Filed sexual assault charges against Obama for date rape in 1990. Because "date rape" was not considered a crime like it is today, she ended up dropping the charges. Two years later, she was found dead of an apparent cocaine overdose.

Fun game: Try to determine how many of these people even exist. We're coming up cold blank on several so far, including the 'Sarah Berkley' who wrote the apparently nonexistent book, The Jihad at the Ballot Box — which is, you know, supposed to have tied Obama to radical Islam at some point during his career as an Illinois state senator. The best might be Darsano Rahardjo (below). Egad, who can say it isn't true?!

TAMIKA HILL– A former secretary for Obama's office in Chicago was murdered July 6, 2005 at a rib shack in the south side. Hill had spoken off the record with a reporter from the Chicago Sun Times about meetings Obama had with black militants in the city. She was murdered before she could ever be properly interviewed.

HASAD AL SHAREEZ – FBI informant. Reported to his handler in January 2001 that he had a tape about of a person named simply "B. Hussein" meeting with 9/11 hijacker Mohatma Atta in Prague. Was found shot in the basement of a mosque in Dearborn, MI in October, 2001.

DARSANO RAHARDJO – Childhood classmate of Barack Obama when he attended a madrassa in Indonesia. Was found with his head cut off in a Jakarta alley way in 1970. Many children at the school attributed Rahardjo's murder to the young Barack Obama. It was likely done as an initiation ritual, since Islam demands that a boy spill another's blood before the age of ten to prove their loyalty to Allah.

REVEREND DAVID MANNING – Former head of the Trinity Baptist Church in Chicago. Was murdered during the apparent robbery of a catfish restaurant in 1972. Shortly afterwards, Rev. Jeremiah Wright took over as head of Trinity and a many parishioners (who later left the church) suspected Wright in having a hand in Reverend Manning's death. Decades later, Manning's son JAMAL MANNING was found dead of an apparent crack overdose in 2004. It was rumored he was going to bring evidence of Wright's complicity in his father's death. His testimony was timed to coincide with Obama's first senate race.

CHRISTOPHER HARGROVE, A former lover of Larry Sinclair. Found dead in a hotel room of apparent auto-erotic asphyxiation in January 2001. Was said to have been enraged when he found out that Sinclair had cheated on Jackson with Obama in the back of a limousine. To get revenge, Jackson planned to release digital pictures Sinclair had taken of the encounter on the Internet.

PAUL ROTHCHILD – Democrat National Committee Political Director found dead in a hotel room in Washington DC in 2003. A "friend and trusted adviser" to senatorial candidate Barack Obama. Dead of an apparent suicide.

CURTIS "POOKIE" JACKSON – Chicago drug dealer. Was the subject of a police investigation in which he was suspected of funneling money to Obama's many various community projects. Killed in 1998 in an apparent gang murder.

HARVEY KENYON – Head of Obama's senatorial security team in Chicago. Gunned down in his car at a deserted intersection outside of Grant Park in 2005. Kenyon's son said his father was building a dossier on Obama. He allegedly threatened to reveal this information. After he died the files were mysteriously removed from his house

SHEILA BAUGH – A Washington DC madame. Died from a gunshot wound. Reported to have a black book of people containing names of influential people who visited the prostitutes in her brothel. One of those names was allegedly Barack Obama.

KEYSHAWN "SPOON" CALWORTH – Was found dead of an apparent heroin overdose May 18, 1997. Was reported to have ties to Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

LAWSHAWNA MARTIN- 26 year old mother of five, a Cabrini Green resident with a history of substance abuse. Told two of her co-workers at the Blue Peppermint Gentleman's Club that she would have to quit work because she was pregnant again. Strongly implied that the "baby daddy" was Barack Obama. The next week, she was reported missing. No body was ever recovered, but Lawshana has not resurfaced since making those remarks.

BILL FERGUSON- Senior aide to Barack Obama. Found dead of an apparent heart attack.

GANDY BAUGH – Attorney for Obama friend Antonin Rezko died by falling out an eightieth story window of the Hancock Tower, January, 2003. His client was a convicted Chinese spy.

Andrew Breitbart March 1st, 2012 – Died suddenly and unexpected of "natural causes" possibly related to a Heart Attack. Untimely death coincided with potentially damaging release of Barack Obama's College Years with known domestic terrorists and communists.

*Update* 06/20/2013 – Award winning journalist Michael Hastings dies in a car accident at the age of 33. This story is till developing. Eyewitness and from pictured of the actual scene prove and show that this was not a car accident that struck a near by tree. The scene shows a blast from the back of the vehicle that transfered to the front of the car. Stay tuned for more updates.
